*GEM: A new RTA by MarkBugs

I've used my gem in temp mode since I got it and never had a problem with resistance at all, but I've never used it in the 510 mode, only hybrid on a wizard. I think the temp/resistance issue applies more to using it with the 510 connector, so if you have a temp controlled wizard then I think it...

I have seen wicking get sucked into the squonk hole(s) of an atty and then cause excessive pressure on the squonk

possible a little too much cotton around the squonk hole in the atty? softer bottles will have less "return suction" and are easier to block the return with a bit of wick over the squonk hole

clamp the hack saw blade in a vicegrip and spin the driptip in the drill, use the end of the vice grip where it clamps against the hack saw blade as a rest stop and shortening a driptip to a snub nose is really not that hard, then clean it up with a file same way, file stationary while spinning...

ha, that could very easily have be done with nothing more than a hand drill, hack saw blade, a few pieces of sand paper and some never dull... and maybe a file to smooth the hack saw cut :)

yeah the chalice 1 & 2 is a very tight draw, plus the coil is set up to sit in the center of the deck, away from the air inlet. some of us winded up getting mark to do some with larger 1.5mm air inlets on the 2nd run, stock they were only 1.2mm, but even then it's a bit tight and still suffers...

didn't like the way the stock chalice looked on this thing, didn't match at all so I shortened the drip tip and polished it up to match the button, also added another air hole opposite the stock one while I was at it, much better now, all matchy matchy and hitting like a beast now with air...

ha, I try to not promise anything that I'm not sure I could deliver, but if I do ever wind up building something, you're def in brother :) I'm guessing it can't be as bad as trying to machine stainless steel, I've done a few ss things and man that's rough. I have a nice sized chunk of 7075 that...

also really loving the 7068, normally anything brushed aluminum, especially with a fine brushing like this one has, would start to show micro scratches right away just from handling it a bit but the 7068 is so hard that even rubbing it and wiping fingerprints from it doesn't seem to effect the...

well no time to mirror polish an atty to match the button, but I just stuck a stock chalice on there and it's vaping fine, really like the soft button press, really like the way it feels in-hand. when I first seen these I thought the sharper lower edge may be a concern but after holding it and...

Well yeah, the chalice is strictly a mouth to lung single coil flavor atty. If your looking for large volume dual coil type vape then yeah, the chalice can seem a little wimpy... personally I'm good with quality over quantity but if your looking for more the chalice is a bit limited

I run chalices on several different bottom feeders, mostly custom dna temp control mods.... the chalice has none of the tempermental 510 issues

*GEM: A new RTA by MarkBugs

The chalice beats the gem for me only because I can ensure full saturation on each hit, each and every time, where the gem is more dependant on wicking and the moon aligning with the stars and stuff like that ;) when the gem feeds well it is every bit as good as the chalice but that can vary...

*GEM: A new RTA by MarkBugs

You really can't directly conpare the gem to the chalice in that they are 2 very different things... the gem is a tank, it holds juice in the atty and attempts to auto feed this juice to the internal chamber, where the chalice is just a tiny chamber and that's it, you need to constantly feed it...

The chalice 3 is my single most favorite atty of all time. I have like 7 chalices of the 2 & 3 variety... only other atty that I ever decided to get more than one of is the nuppin, but I only have 5 of those. Even the gem, I originally thought I'd want several, but after getting my one I decided...

I just love his products, yeah I'll admit that the gem has been a little less than ideal for me but I still kinda like it, I guess you can't always get everything perfect... on that note, I just bought the last $99 wizard evolved dna30 from nicostix :) yesterday...
