Very interesting! I would indeed love to try a large air hole, I guess I just never craved anything better than what I'm using now. It would be interesting to see an adjustable airflow ring that could go very large like you're talking about! I don't really have anything other than Ody Penny and...

2x 3mm holes? That seems enormous. I still don't quite understand your issue with the air flow - I take giant lung-filling hits, I don't suck it into my mouth first, it all goes right into my lungs - I only need to hold the button down for maybe 3-5 seconds - a lot like taking a drag of an...

Hmmm interesting, mine don't have that, they are very sturdy and solid. Mine are the normal mouthpieces... Do you have the telescopic mouthpiece?

    Ithaka: best build?

So far for me: dual coils, 32g Kanthal 30g Nickel, .6-.7ohm with cotton hemp yarn wicks or silica (still need to try hemp twine)

Yeah.. how thick are the wicks you are using? Sometimes when I have too much wick (like 3 strands in the ceramic) it's harder to pull (more restrictive), but still never really a huge issue.

Heat Issues with Odysseus, Penelope, and Ithaka :/

Bishopheals has a good video on ribbon wire in an Ithaka.. A lot of people love it, I personally haven't tried yet though.

Check out this big Microcoil thread They are basically very tiny coils wrapped with thicker wire, and all the coils touch each other, basically forming a single tube rather than a coil. People say they achieve sub-ohm-like vapes with better flavor at higher ohms. I think most people use 28g...

Do you mean for the micro coils? Have you tried parallel micro coils in Ithaka? How was it? And yeah I've been watching a couple videos on people making them.. I will fire the coils red hot and squeeze them together with needle nose pliers many times first. I'll have to try it out soon!

Yeah that would be awesome... even just having some way to heat up a small piece of porous ceramic without coils... it would be the wick and heat source.. then just take it out and torch it to clean it! Or maybe even somehow vaporize the liquid with lasers (no really!) One of these days we will...

If you make an R-wire only Ody you'll have to make an R-wire only Ithaka, too! I have no huge need for an R-wire only atomizer but I can certainly see the appeal of that, and would definitely buy an R-wire only Ithaka!

Oh nice.. I will try parallel coils next time.. I've always done the X coils. This will be easier if I am doing microcoils on Ithaka! That's the main thing that's been stopping me because the way most people do it is they thread the cotton through the coil after heating the coil up a few times...

Looking for a good oatmeal and/or raisin flavor

Hmmm, I'm not a huge fruit flavor guy.. I like tobacco/nutty sort of flavors Maybe I will get some to have a sweet accent to something, though.

Looking for a good oatmeal and/or raisin flavor

Oooh, I was thinking of the actual Hangsen flavors they also carry (in addition to the VZ-SC) - there were some threads about how their Hangsen RY1 was different than ECX's Hangsen RY1. I gotta try the VZ-SC flavors, though.. I will order a few. Definitely the Rum Raisin, that sounds good!

Looking for a good oatmeal and/or raisin flavor

Ok, so are the VZ-SC flavors Hangsen flavors? I thought their RY1 and the RY1 from ECX were both "Hangsen" but had different tastes. What is up with the VZ-SC? Hangsen or no? I'm a little confused :P

    Which multimeter to buy.

I enjoy my Klein MM200 Multimeter... I think it's the best for the money and great for our needs. Don't forget alligator clips! I got some from Radio Shack for a couple bucks.

Ah I see. Still, though, why not have the option for customers? Maybe it just doesn't taste right with PG in it.
