Thanks jjkanto! Glad you like my work. I really need to update my website.. I've got so much more to show.. more motion design and animation stuff. I've told Imeo before if he ever needed any illustrations or design work done I would be honored to do it! One of these days I will do some sort of...

Awesome! Thanks! If I like it enough I will probably just order the same kind you got from Canada.. it's not too expensive, especially for how much wick I would get out of it! Thanks again, I really appreciate it.

Glenn I would love to try it. I was gonna order that myself but didn't want to pay the shipping from Canada so I was gonna wait 2-3 weeks for another vendor to stock it (or something similar) I will PM you, thanks so much!

Beautiful CaptSteve. I would brush my GGTS but it's an old one (#414) and the engravings are very light, if I were to brush it I think they would just disappear!

Not fruit flavored, it's a tobacco flavor. The taste is hard to describe, and everyone tastes something different in it - it's really an amazing juice. I can only describe it with saying it tastes like an oatmeal raisin cookie.. sort of a sweet graham cracker tobacco flavor. It's complex and...

Nice yankee haha, we all need to change it up now and then! I boiled mine for 10 minutes and I notice no taste. My last build was 3 strands and it took a second to heat up the coils but not really on this 2 strand build. I think the 3 strand build also gunked up faster than usual so we will see...

The ceramic should be fine if just the little part that separates the channel breaks. I wouldn't worry about it. I haven't had one break yet but I've had Ody ceramics chip a bit and they are usually fine as long as the positive wire isn't touching the metal base.

Are you using the Martha Stewart cotton hemp? I just setup a .7ohm dual coil with 2 strands of the yarn, one down the channels... It's vaping absolutely amazingly.. Much better than the 3 strand I did before. I'm sold, I'll be using this over silica I think!

The tsaf only has 4 settings, no specific voltage, but I can probably check each one. I also use 30g nickel and 32g kanthal. I don't really have any problems welding wires with the tsaf but I'm still trying to find my exact sweet spot so this will help :) Thanks Poppa!

Just boil it for 10 minutes (bring water to a boil, then drop the yarn in) then just pat it down with paper towels and microwave it dry and you're good to go!

Hey dokebilee, you should really try this Martha Stewart cotton hemp yarn that I've been using (thanks to Bishop) if you haven't already. I'm in love! And I've been thinking about reusing my coils, but I don't know how I would do it with an Ithaka dual coil setup... I don't think I could get to...

Hehe no problem, it's a great video you posted anyway! I do love my multimeter, but I also recently got an ohm meter from MadVapes that just makes things soo much easier. I'm still waiting for one of those volt meters as well, then I won't have to pull out my multimeter stuff for quick checks...

    Ithaka official

Thanks! I do use my multimeter to check ohms/volts on my devices, but I'm wondering how I would do it for my little wire welder. I'm assuming I just charge the Tsaf up as I normally would and just put the probes on the welder clips and test for voltage? I mean I guess that makes sense, all it's...

    The JUST GG/JGG

Yeah I've been leaning towards brushing my Just GG when I get it as well. I, too, love the polished look, but it gets greasy and fingerprints pretty fast (at least for me)

Can I use a multimeter to test how many volts my Tsaf is putting out? How would I do that without doing damage to the leads/MM or anything like that?

Hm, then maybe it's the difference between me using an Ithaka - maybe the dual coils burned juice up faster than the ekowool could wick? I'd love to get better use out of this ekowool!

Interesting - what size ekowool? After like 2 days I started getting good wicking, but it was inconsistent for me.. sometimes it would flood, sometimes I would get a dry burn.. after a while it evened out, but right off the bat I had a lot of issues. Maybe one day I will try smaller diameter...
