Interested to see what you receive. Keep us posted! Did you sign up as a beginner? What devices did you select??
I wonder if they will actually send you a mod, since they refer to Tanks and RDAs as "Devices" and APVs as mods.
Just got back from lunch (at cookout!) and when I was leaving the drive through, a car pulled up beside me right after I let out a decent cloud. The driver said yo and handchecked me with his setup. I handchecked him back with a smile. Then his passenger popped his setup into view and smiled...
That symbol on the inner chimney (first pic) is a "Project Sub-ohm" label I think VaporDNA started (or just carried quite a bit of hardware for them)... but they partnered with different vendors. The second picture looks like the orchid RTA symbol, though slightly different...
You have an orchid...
& adding to @440BB 's mention,
I almost yanked a wick in one of my drippers for a buddy that was "dying" for a cig. I have back ups for my back up so no problem to me. When I removed the top cap, he gave me this look like I was crazy. No difference than lighting it off a stove top...
Sadly I Vaped forward my black Subox and my white one wants to charge my batteries, even when unplugged. It only exceeds at draining them faster. It drained a now binned battery down to 2.5ish one time. No more though.
Let's see if I can wake old kman,
He's a bit groggy. Hasn't seen light...
It does look like a lighthouse:) I thought of the .... end of a pool cue when I saw the pic. Would be cool to unscrew the tank, pop the 26650, screw on the cue and Shoot a couple games.
I've had good luck (compared to most) with kanger single batt mods... Even the Kbox which is still running strong for me, though it rarely sees the light of day now. The DNA chip is a big draw, along with the price. Yeah, when I searched again the site link in google showed $20. Then, in the...
Almost a year later and I can finally get this thread back on track. I now have the Authentic versions of the 22mm and the 24mm. There was some confusion as to the actual diameter of this RTA, since the clones came in both 22 and 24mm. I am not sure if Dotmod actually released a 24mm early on...
Sorry, original wrapper (came to you wrapped like that). I thought maybe the left one you show was for comparison to the original wrapper. It is well done if you did it. And now looking at your negs, that may also be a culprit and not allow connection to a "flat" contact...
@Mooch Can you disclose the vendor of the fakes? I have seen a few deals on HG2s recently. Rarely jump on any battery sales other than a few legitimate venders... but could be helpful.
Your DIY wrap looks much better than my few attempts. Did you get those terminal protectors (black) aftermarket? could be too thick. Or, by the look of it, the posi terminal "nipple" has been pressed in slightly from use and abuse... Is the battery on the left OG wrapped?
From what I've seen of the Molly, it has those flat contact points, yes? I have a frankenvape clone, similar contacts. Looks like your wrap sits higher than the posi terminal (battery on the right), meaning your posi is not making connection with the contact on the mod...
@devintcoon Would be helpful to know what material and wire gauges your core(s) and outer wrap are... Higher gauge SS wire could minimze your ramp time. If you built these claptons, try some 28g SS with Ka1, N80 or even more SS 32g+ "wrapping" wire. You'll be amazed at the difference in...
