    This is just IMHO, that's not best quality product. I recommend getting an eGo-C Twist which is a better product and you can change the voltage from 3.2-4.8 volts and has proven itself among the community.

    I agree completely. This was caused by a faulty pv. Most commercially made VV pv's, that I know of, come with protection to prevent this from happening.

    The eGo batteries don't have vent holes. As long as you use the right charging cable, it should be safe.

    I don't know much about rebuilding the Nova with SS mesh wick, but why don't you try getting an affordable Genesis atty that's meant to be a RBA. I imagine it would be much easier than modding something that wasn't meant for this design. This is just IMHO. :2c:

    You say your using a genesis style atty, which means that the reason you are most likely getting burnt taste is b/c your wick isn't wicking well enough. Do you notice it more when your tank is low? There's various factors that effect how well your wick soaks up juice.

    My mother uses the eGo-C twist and she always charges them overnight all the time. It doesn't seem to effect the battery at all.

    If you are using 2 batteries stacked in a mechanical pv, you are getting the same mah, but your getting twice the amount of voltage. It really comes down to what the pv is doing with the stacked batteries.
