Watch Jim's video. You can start at 15min mark to watch how he does his coils. I do mine the same way. Right now I'm using a 5/6 coil at 2.4ohm. It helped me not to build the coil while it was in the wick hole.
I hear you. From what I hear they have good customer service. I would call them and see if they could overnight a top spring. I'm sure they could get one to you, may not overnight though.
Pics always help. How many coils are you using(I forgot), and what gauge kanthal are you using? You used a torch to oxidize it right? Make sure your bottom coil isn't touching the bottom nut and your top coil not touching the top nut on the center post. Your wick isn't touching the bottom of the...
I have used an the DID on a ego twist to test it. It looks funny, but works. Just be careful with the resistance of the coil. I have heard those ego 18650 mods have a weak switch, so try not to run to many amps through it.
Edit: I hope it's the upgrade switch so you can run it unregulated, if...
Sent pm, emailed, and called for the past few days. I haven't gotten any response back about my order. What's going on??????? Is everything okay Anthony? This was my first order with you, is this normal?
For some reason I love the 1/16" draw. I started in a Zenesis with open draw and got used to it quickly. Now anything smaller then that seems to be too tight of a draw. It's kind of funny, I used to enjoy tight holes, now I enjoy the loose ones.
Yup!!! Don't forget to build a nice layer of pg or vg on it after oxidizing it. Just wet the wick the pg or vg and light it up. Make sure you have it over a surface that won't catch on fire if the pg or vg drips off. I made that mistake my first time with paper towels!
If you stack batteries it wouldn't double the mah, it would double the voltage. I'm not a fan of stacking batteries, b/c I feel it's not as safe as using a single battery.
I couldn't agree more. I think a lot of people get discouraged about genesis attys, b/c they think it requires an exact science. It really isn't! It's more of an art. All people need to focus on is oxidizing the wick enough. That is the main issue I see happening out there.
