ETA:Never mind... My reading comprehension is failing this afternoon.

    Cheap ultrasonic cleaners??

You really don't want to use it with the glass bottles sitting on the metal tub; IIRC it'll dampen the vibrations and can cause the transducer to burn out. I bought an old Branson off of ebay for cleaning parts during scuba regulator rebuilds. Since we're not diving so much these days, it gets...

    TFA double RY4

Last night I mixed up 5ml each of RY4-D and fruit: 8% Ry4 Double 5% Peach (LA) / 5% Pomegranate (CAP) 1% EM I'm pretty happy with the peach mix, although I was a bit surprised by the amount of flavor. I'd mixed a 5% peach sample as a stand-alone and didn't think it was that strong. Perhaps...

DOOMSDAY Prepping For the Possible FDA Restriction

This is about as small as it gets: Igloo 1.7-cu ft Refrigerator It's got a separate "ice cube tray" that ought to be enough for a liter or two of bottled nic. If not, WalMart has a pretty liberal return policy... ETA: Lol! You're is probably better, although I'd buy a larger chest freezer...

    Too Harsh! What Went Wrong?

Have you tried vaping the PG and VG without adding nic or flavors? Once you've tried them and ruled them out, make up a 60/40 mix, again with no nic and no flavor. If that's OK, do it again with nic, and then repeat with flavor. I know my nic gives things a bit of a rough feel on my throat if...

Two things I would like to see.

Both solar and Generic hand cranks with usb charging ports are already on the market; take a look around for emergency or preparedness products. They'll be slow,, but they'll work. Heck, I've got an emergency flashlight / radio with a power-out option. It's meant to charge a phone, but any...

I use a cheap magnifying lamp; I think I bought it at Harbor Freight.

    DIY Flavor Testing methods...

I use a couple of Phoenix clones and a new-to-me Igo-S RDA. If you don't mind the idea of rebuilding, the Igo-S seems to work great for 3-4 drops, it's really easy to clean, and it works well on top of regular eGo batteries. The only downside I see is that it's short, so it vapes a bit warmer...

eGo-V Soft button repair / replacement?

Update: I replaced the button band on June 24th. It's now July 9th and the button already has a good tear in it, same as before. I guess my efforts at smoothing out the hole were unsuccessful. I'm guessing I've got another four or five days until it splits and becomes unusable, so it's a good...

    The Wizard Labs Thread.

I drop in nearly every day to check flavor stocks. Shipping isn't too bad for smaller batches of flavors, something like $3.00 for a dozen flavors (11.75 flavors in my case ). When there's enough stuff that I want or they have a flavor that I really need, I'll place an order. While...

    How Fat is Too Fat?

Which RDA do you have? I just bought an Igo-S and set it up with a doubled-over 2mm wick and a 5/6 wrap of 32ga Kanthal for use on top of a regular eGo battery. It meters in at 2ohms and vapes quite well. I set this one up for frequent flavor changes, so the wick is fairly short on both sides...

FWIW, there was no sign of breakage 'till I removed the vial from the bag. When I pulled on it, the top / cylindrical portion came out, the flat bottom didn't.

    The Wizard Labs Thread.

In my second WL order, I had one flavor vial that got cracked. It was packed pretty well; sealed in a zip-closure plastic bag, inside of sealed bubble pack, inside of the padded envelope. When I opened everything I assumed that the cap was loose, and it had just leaked a few drops. Wrong...

Bought some plastic dropper bottles off Amazon today

I bought a bunch of 5 & 10ml bottles of the same type. They're certainly not the best out there, but they work great for sample sizes and small batches. My DIYs are all 70%PG or higher, so YMMV if you're adding more VG to the mix.

    Show me your cases

This one? I don't own one, but I have looked at it and will probably buy one soon for traveling (about $9 at Walmart or on Amazon). They're well built, and male Velcro sticks to the interior fabric (makes for easy customization if you don't want to carve foam).

    Do you name your juices?

 Right now I'm sticking with a version number. If I ever manage to make something I want to repeat I'll think about naming it. So far it's not looking good
