What kind of syringe do I need?(FIRST ORDER EVER)

I'm going to second that one. You haven't lived 'till you've shot a syringe full of e-juice and a non-locking needle across your prep area... They'll sell them to you at most any pharmacy as long as there are no rules about it in your state. Anything finer than a 20ga needle is useless for...

Any Georgia Vapors out there ??

GLV's Nebbia & Virtu lines. I wonder what kind of in-store variety and parts availability they'll have. I don't care much for their juice, but they do have a few bits of hardware I don't see at the other local shops; particularly connectors & DIY mod items.

    Convince me to use cotton

Now that I'm using a Kayfun clone, I'm rebuilding coils about once every three weeks, and re-threading them with cotton once, maybe twice per week. The Kayfun will give you one or two dry, off-flavor hits before you actually burn the cotton. I also pull apart old Evod heads, cut / pull the...

    Carto help

I tend to run mine on VV devices at about 4v. Of course, YMMV. Start low, 'cause you don't want to burn it. Once you do, you'll never get that flavor out. I'm not a huge carto connoisseur, but after trying a half dozen different brands and types, I settled on the Ikenvape LR Platinum S...

Shocked how fast I quit analogs

I picked up my first eGo kit on the way to a concert tailgate party. I had no intention of quitting right away, figuring I'd just try to cut the number of smokes down a bit. Surprise! Hey Mikey, he likes it! During a long day and evening of drinking and hanging out with a bunch of folks who...

Need suggestion about what to buy

Oh yeah... As far as I know, ego refers to the threaded portion at the top of the battery, on which you attach the clearomizer (or cartomizer, or...). This diagram should help: eGo vs. 510 Thread, what is the difference? This thread should also help...

Need suggestion about what to buy

Hi Herb, If I were to go out and buy a kit today, this is more or less where I'd start: Evod Starter Kit The basic kit gives you a pair of batteries, a pair of Evod clearomizers, some replacement coils for the Evods, and a charger. It's a decent way to get started, and genuine Kanger components...

    Carto help

Always have extras available. That goes for cartos, clearos, replaceable coils, batteries, etc. If your rig goes down for whatever reason, you really don't want to be left without a backup or replacement parts, especially if you've recently quit smoking. Since I like a warmer vape, I prefer...

    Define a mechanical mod.

Well said, and the same point I was going to try to make. Thankfully you typed in before I had a chance to confuse myself or others further :) (Or sound like an argumentative something-or-another; absolutely not my intention.) Sans fuse, I would think my wood-bodied e-pipes would be...

    Define a mechanical mod.

Also true, but that limiter is only a function of the materials and quality of assembly of said switch. A heavy duty switch can exceed the delivery capacity of (some) batteries, making the point of self destruction a moot point.

    Define a mechanical mod.

True, but I'm asking why a wire makes or breaks the definition of a mech mod. After all, you can dent or otherwise break a mod without creating a short, etc. I understand that's not an easy thing to do, and would likely never happen; I'm just presenting it for the sake of argument.

    Define a mechanical mod.

What's the difference between a mechanical switch and a button used with wires? (Provided the button is a standard open / close circuit button, and does not operate a relay, gate, or other electronic circuitry...)

Just Got My Kayfun and OHHH MANNNN!

Before you do a build, you need to do a thorough wash job on it. Thorough. I pulled a lot of oils off / out of mine. The air flow and fill ports were absolutely full of gunk. A bath in some Dawn, a scrub with a toothbrush and a pipe cleaner, and now it's good to go. Pay careful...

No Love For Genesis Tanks Now That KFLs Are So Popular?

I've had my Kayfun clones for a while now, and still prefer the flavor my RSST delivers when vaping El Kamino by GLV. Dunno why, maybe the mesh changes the flavor, or maybe it some other factor. Regardless, that's the way it is for me. Too bad too, 'cause I don't like the RSST when out an...

Questions + Looking for an ePipe Mod < $75

I think you'll be happy with it. It's a good size, shape, and weight, and the 510 connection is pretty nice. If I wanted to buy a non-ePipeMods piece, the K1000 would be my choice. I don't own one, but I did get to mess with one at a local vape meet. The owner says he's pretty happy with...

    "Lifetime" Supply Nicotine

100mg nic needs to be treated carefully and with respect, but it's not nitroglycerine. IMO, you should get comfortable with the DIY process using a lower strength nicotine, and then make your storage grade choices.
