Hey everyone. I'm a noob who just ordered a 510 kit from Vicki @ CigNot.

Estimated expenses for me (necessities only, not "toys" or new models): Hardware: $15 to the eGo Battery replacement/charger replacement/miscellaneous doodad fund... $20 for attys/cartomizers... Software: About $50 (if premade) or $30 (if I DIY, which I do) for juice. But then I vape A LOT...

I am so happy I could cry.

Awesome... absolutely awesome. I think of all the people in my family whom I might have had another 5, or 10, or 20 years with had these been around long ago... and I almost want to cry too. It's good to hear about someone wanting to cry in a good way.

    Totally new, need advice.

If you're not a nicotine addict, don't start. Believe me, you don't want this.

Hey everyone. I'm a noob who just ordered a 510 kit from Vicki @ CigNot.

20 ml would last me about 5-6 days, but then I'm a fiend :). 1 PAD ML's... You've prolly got a week and a half's worth (though it depends on your style... everyone is different. You'll figure out how much you're going through in a day or two). Try a few other flavors... Big Hitter is right; I...

WARNING: Do NOT Vape in the Bathtub.

You know, when I first started in the cash register business, I was working on some printers (building working ones out of used parts). I had a PCB that was all corroded, and one of the older guys said, "well, just wash it". Wash it? with capacitors and IC's and all that on it? He says...

    The eventual popularization of e-cigs

Yep, +1. Most people won't even look into DIY juice, much less make it... about as many as rolled their own before cig taxes shot into the stratosphere (I was one of those, too). For a few years, the poly-tick-ians (meaning many blood-sucking parasites) won't even have us on the radar :)

    The eventual popularization of e-cigs

It's just a matter of logistics... the shipments that are being stopped are wholesale orders going to resellers here in the states. A million packages come through US customs every day from China... they can't check all of them! It's just physically impossible...

    The eventual popularization of e-cigs

    Well, there's always China :)

    The eventual popularization of e-cigs

I have it on reliable authority that they'll never ban the sale of liquid nicotine... besides, BT would never stand for it. Everything else I can buy, as far as juice goes, for "other purposes". I do see your point, JW... carts are easily priced & taxed. That's the direction they'll probably...

    Sucess story!! (I think?)

As others here have said, it's not like AA where you have to turn in your chip and start over :). For 8 days, you didn't smoke, and you're not smoking now, right? It's the cumulative effect over time that does all the damage, and you're well on your way to reversing it. I actually tell people...

    The eventual popularization of e-cigs

Right now, there are (as I see it), 4 major forces standing in the way of this. 1. The Antis. For them, this is a crusade... not unlike the Temperance unions of old, they are out to quash the "Demon Nicotine". Nothing is ever going to get them out of the way, and no amount of reasoning will...

    Why me?

Why don't you leave Taxachusetts and move somewhere else? Y'know, like America or somewhere?

    Heaven, I'm in heaven

Sleep mode = charging mode ;) so, even when I'm asleep, I'm TCB, baby... KnowwhutImean? I think you do.... uh-huh-huh....

    Two ?'s

I'd give it a good rinse, maybe a long boil, before you try it. It's probably ok, but who knows?

    The "hiss" from 501

Ditto. Always keep the attys wet. BTW, what's a 501? I'm always assuming it's a typo or a newb mistake meaning a 510... but is there a model '501'?
  17. hiram13pm

    sorry typeo mean eastmall.net

Isn't eastmall in China? They're on a holiday til the 5th. Might be technical.... but chinese suppliers are on our equivalent of "spring break" or "Christmas week" right now...

How to Build yourself a small 5v triple A box with microswitch using pcb

Sweeeet! Yeah, the first one I screwed up by drilling the switch hole in the wrong place... mine (the working one) is just below the atty connector, otherwise you can't fit the pcb in. Don't this thing rock? Try taking a thick piece of copper (mine is some 3/8 tubing, flattened and bent to...

    Yikes.....
