    Please heeeeeeeeeeelp!

Ack. Yeah, that would be like drinking concentrated orange juice straight. Flavoring base needs to be mixed in small amounts with a nicotine concentrate & a fairly large proportion of "cut". 8-15% is a common proportion for flavoring, but it varies by the individual. I suppose you could make...

    e juice help

I'm guessing Avin isn't a native speaker of English. Avin, what size, in milliliters, is your batch? How many ml of that 100mg nicotine is in it, and is it based in PG or VG? How many ml of flavoring are you using, and is it based in PG or VG? Lastly, what are you using as the 'cut', PG or...

    e juice help

I'm going to take a wild guess and think you meant that you mixed 100mg nic base down to an 18mg mix, and now you're not getting any throat hit. The liquids used in your nic, your base liquid (what you cut it down with), and your flavoring will have the most bearing on it. On top of...

    Why Mech mods

I bought my first mechanical because... well, that's about all there was in the field of 'mods' at the time. I like them for a number of reasons. They're what I know, and I resist change. I can build them myself, if it comes to that. At this point, everything I need to put a mechanical mod...

    Smoke free hotels and vaping

I've been vaping for years, and spent a LOT of time in hotels as work put me on the road a lot. Unless you're cloud-chasing, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've never had a problem.

New here. Help needed in diy juice please???

There are sweeteners available, but I've never needed them. Then again, I don't really have a sweet tooth, lol. What percentages of each were you using (how much flavoring & how much / what strength nic)? Too much flavoring can be a bad thing.

    new to cloud chasing...

There's a great set of calculators here: Steam Engine | free vaping calculators It seems to me that the big clouds are a balancing act between resistance, coil surface area, and heat flux. The Battery Drain calculator will give you your amp drain limits. Common batteries are already pre-set...

    How long have you vaped?

Cinco de Mayo made it 5 years for me :)

Tasting eliquid on my lips, is nicotine being absorbed in this area?

On a camping trip, my mod broke 6 hours from home & I didn't have a backup with me. Still had my juice, though! Every few hours, I'd put a drop or two under my tongue & hold it as long as I could stand it, then spit it out (this was about 25mg juice). The only negative effects were mild...

    18650 batteries

Li-Ion batteries aren't like the old rechargables... they like staying fully charged, and don't develop "memory". In fact, if they drop below 3.2v, they can die for good... so topping them off isn't a bad thing. Sounds like your mod is designed to prevent that by getting you to charge them...

Tasting eliquid on my lips, is nicotine being absorbed in this area?

Most of the nicotine you absorb is done so via your mouth, throat, and sinuses anyway, not your lungs. It's nothing to sweat about. I've ingested a little juice before, and the worst I got was some fairly bad heartburn. Drink some extra water (lol... more than the extra water you should be...

    Very Interesting Observation

At least it sounds like it's a fluctuation in the equipment & not your heart, right?

    hello to all

Hiya. What are you vaping on?

    Very Interesting Observation

Watch the change next time it happens, and note if it happens immediately, or a few seconds after you hit the vape. If it's immediate, it's interference... if it takes a few seconds, it could be an actual reading from your heart, and I'd see a doctor about it if I were you. edit: Or better...

    Very Interesting Observation

Yup. I used to do low-voltage wiring for communications, and being near any kind of power lines can potentially induce an RF signal in them.

    Very Interesting Observation

Weird... Well, electrical current certainly causes a magnetic field, and a high-drain unit would cause a more powerful one. If your ecig was close to one of the contacts when you hit it, it could cause some weird readings.

Electronic cigarette have a taste of apple ?

They can taste like practically anything you want. I have actually seen Kung Pao Chicken, Roast Beef, and Crab juice (ew). My favorites are fruits: pomegranate, watermelon... Shop around and you'll find just about anything.

Well.. Getting time to order a RDA

Madvapes has a good selection of RDA types, plus wick & wire. I use organic cotton wick, which you can pick up dirt cheap at most pharmacies... and if you're ordering from Amazon.com you can pick up a 100 foot spool of 28ga Kanthal for like, 6 bucks. Madvapes has different kinds of silica rope...

    Nemesis Hot Negative Screw

Sounds like it's the switch. Somewhere in the chain of parts that make up the switch, metal is touching metal where it shouldn't be. Don't use this thing until you figure it out... shorts are dangerous. See if there's a brick-and-mortar vape store near you that sells mods; usually the staff...
