    Nope. They just do that. I kinda like the sizzle; reminds me of analogs, in a way. Mine are all LR, so maybe the regular resistance ones are more quiet... but it's a sound you get used to.

    There's a new mod out called the "dubacco". SteelJan has a vid of it on Youtube; it uses the 18600. Battery sizes are: First two digits, diameter in mm. Second two, length in mm. Last digit a '0' indicates that it's round & not square.
