    Nicoticket returning?

Too true ... Been poking around his fb page, and judging by some of the more recent posts, he's making a real attempt at a proper reopening. So, yeah, respect! :thumb:

    Nicoticket returning?

You know what? I agree with what you're saying. I really do hope everything works out for him and for NT. I didn't like that he posted dumping A LOT of juice in the garbage when so many were in desperate need, but I wish him no ill will--only success. But still, I'm not so sure I'll be...

    Nicoticket returning?

When I started seriously vaping in 2014, and forgot all about cigarettes, it was because I discovered the Virus and Wakonda. I became a NT fanboy and eventually I had no idea what other juice makers had to offer. I kept buying NT juices right up to the end and then rationed my supply as long...

    Joyetech Penguin

Thanks for the tip--feel like using the drill to make a nice hole in the cotton. Haha

    Joyetech Penguin

Sheesh, I can't believe how densely these Penguin coils are wound. I can barely push a sharp needle through the cotton without shifting the whole wad inside the ceramic housing. Have any of you tried pulling out the cotton/coil and just re-wrapping the coil a little more loosely?

    Joyetech Penguin

I think any kind of a vent will allow the whole tank to bleed out into the air passage--remember the Nautilus doing that due to the tiniest of hairs getting on the upper seal? It may be just due to an insufficiently-sized juice hole for a 0.6 ohm coil. When I take a hit, at first I can hear...

    Joyetech Penguin

I'm still finding this thing to be quite a struggle, a PITA even. So much so that I've been taking a break and using my Aspire Plato instead. I've been using 50/50 juice with the 0.6 ohm coils and I've done everything mentioned in this thread to make my Penguins work the way I want. Well...

    Joyetech Penguin

Yep, fluffed up the wick so that some fluff extends up the chimney. I also poked the wick with a sewing pin, I noticed the wick was very dense, I suppose to prevent flooding.

    Joyetech Penguin

Well, I tried just roughing up the cotton in the chimney with a needle, poked into the wick a few times. Only the first coil I've done this to, but this one is the best working coil I've experienced with this device yet. Next, I will rough the cotton so that some fluffes upward through the chimney.

    Joyetech Penguin

I love the functionality of the Penguin. There's no juicing spitting in my mouth, the vapor seems relatively copious, even on the 0.6 coil, and when things are done right, there's no leaking from the cartridges. I did have one major flood that went through my Penguin and leaked out the bottom...

    Joyetech Penguin

In the beginning, I had a lot of problems with burning and dry hits. All those problems went away when I started priming the coil effectively. What I do is place a new coil on a napkin, or whatever, and then add juice to the top hole that will be inside the tank. When the wick absorbs the...
