    Shame on Nicoticket

I can't wait for The Virus MOVIE to get produced. H1N1 all the way!!! Just picked up a 60ml bottle for 20% off. :D Nothing wrong with a company doing promotionals. I just don't understand those people that think sales is evil.

Hey all, has anyone else found that the iStick 30W produces a slight harshness to the vapor? It's not a burning smell or dry hits, there's plenty of juice being fed, it's just got a rough sort of bite to it. I realize there were issues along these lines with the 20W version, but I thought the...

    sub-ohm envy ?

I've got an Atlantis on an Aspire Sub-Ohm battery and also an iStick 30W. There's no doubt that on either battery, the Atlantis pumps out copious amounts of vapor. While I find seeing a big cloud satisfying, and I like the vapor density, my throat and lungs are not in agreement. I have a hard...

New to vaping, Subtank nano w/ 1.2 hits so hard and burns!!!

I think I may be in the same category. I've been working with the Atlantis and an Aspire Sub-Ohm battery, as well as the iStick 30W, and I'm finding the vapor to be too hot and stinging, no matter what power setting I use, and it tends to trigger off my Asthma. I tried diluting the nicotine...

Have you been hit by any harsh regulation yet?

Yeah, they're installing metal detector because so many people are bringing in weapons, and use them too, and I'm supposed to feel bad about vaping? I agree with you about driving away. You know, it really pisses me off that society allows a highly addictive substance (cigarettes) to be sold...

Have you been hit by any harsh regulation yet?

Well, they can pass all the crap laws they want, but even as a smoker I smoked where ever I wanted as long as I was outdoors and away from groups of people, including parking lots and colleges. Now days, I do the same with vaping. But, really, I think most people here would think twice before...

I received my replacement iStick 30W from the vendor (My Vapor Store) yesterday, and I am happy to report that all my tanks sit flush on top perfectly. I noticed immediately that the center spring connector in the replacement is very well centered and solidly installed, whereas in the previous...

    "mah" ??

I never thought I'd see the day when so many young hipsters would be learning about Ohm's Law and coil winding.

Hi guys, thanks for your ideas. Right now, my iStick is being delivered to the vendor per their instructions. When I get it back I'll let you know what I find.

Seriously, I would advise against this approach. That little spring connector is just too delicate, and the white insulator will just stop your tank screwing in anyways.

Yeah, I know what you mean by it being not worth it--that's was why I just sent it back. It would be very easy to ruin it trying to fix it. As an additional thought, however, I noticed that the steel threads actually appear to be a cylinder which is press fitted into the chrome top-plate. On...

In my case, even the ego adapter was sitting too high with a gap underneath. I had though about whether or not I should just live with the gap because everything else about the iStick 30 was great, but I decided for the money I paid, the thing should work correctly at least in the beginning...

Agreed. I hope it isn't something internal, though.

    Nautilus mini...........

Well, that coil is probably getting ready to die. Whenever I've had coils do that transient slight burnt taste, I just replaced the coil for fear that it would ruin all the remaining juice when it finally does burn. I figured changing coils every so often is still a lot cheaper than what I was...

    Nautilus mini...........

So, the burnt taste is sort of a slight essence of burnt-ness? Does it just sort of come and go occasionally? Also, how long (or, how many ml) has the coil been running?

    itaste clk 1280

When you remove the tank form the battery, you should be able to still push the button and see the green light. Just one more thing you can check.

    Nautilus mini...........

Also, once that build up burns, it can contaminate your juice with "burnt taste" flavor. I did have that happen one time with the Nautilus mini. I then cleaned everything and installed a new coil. Meanwhile, Bernier51, when you prime the coils, do you begin by dropping some juice down the...

    itaste clk 1280

Just so that I am clear--you left the battery on the charger cord until the light turned off. Yes? Then, you press the button 3 times to turn on the battery. Yes? But when you press the button, after the battery is already turned on, you just get the red flashing? What happens when you...

    Nautilus mini...........

I have two of those tanks also, but I am only using one at about 11-12 Watts. Never had a dry hit with it, rather I tend to get occasional slight gurgles with mine. Maybe try priming new coils really well, don't screw the tank on too tight (just snug enough to prevent leaks), and use a thinner...

    itaste clk 1280

Yep, that's how mine does it, too. Just leave it plugged in until the light turns off, then it's fully charged. Press the button once to see if the green light flashes, if not then click three times really quick to turn it on, and then you good to go (assuming, of course, everything is working...
