Depends. Are the short fills you're ordering flavored? If so you are better off ordering full bottles to start with and getting nic added to that so you don't dilute the flavor. 3mg e-liquid is only 0.3% nicotine, so there will be more than enough room.
For me personally, too much VG gives...
Nicotine is generally diluted with PG, VG or both so that it safe to work with. If your friend were using pure nic he'd have to use full lab gear including breathing protection. Only a very small amount, nowhere near enough to fill your 120ml bottle or to even be visually noticeable, is...
Emery boards designed for use on acrylic nails are great for shaping plastics. Always keep a few in my toolbox. You'll need something to polish it back to that smooth glossy finish though. Any sanding or filing down will leave a rough dull finish.
Pads are harder to work with. I don't do it anymore. Organic and unbleached is all you need to worry about with cotton. I have had good results with both those wires for MTL, though 26awg is easier to work with.
Watch some videos about it before you decide. The Dvarw is dead easy to coil and to wick, and it is a very smooth vape. It is a bottom filling tank, which some people see as a drawback, but it hasn't cause me any problems. It also uses a variety of airflow inserts that you use to customize...
It helps when fluffing out the tail to hold onto the other tail so that you don't pull the wick clean out of the coil. Learned that one the hard way. Goal is to have the thickest part of the wick inside the coil and the rest fluffed out so it can pull juice upwards.
I had to lay off vaping for an extraction once. Doc said sucking on straws, etc might cause bleeding. But for other mouth and throat issues I just switch to something soothing like a nice cool mint and vape away.
Have never tried the Scottish roll myself so I can't advise. Just remember not to over stuff your ports. Cotton expands when wet so you don't need as much in there as you think.
I make the tails just long enough to touch the deck. You want the cotton to follow the direction of the wick to the coil and it can't do that if the cotton is bunched up on itself. Think of it as laying a trail for the juice to travel. Every tank has it's bugaboos. I have been an OBS Engine...
Sounds like a wicking problem. Too much cotton in the coil so the juice isn't wicking fast enough to keep the coil wet after the initial prime. When you insert a wick in the coil you should be able to thread the cotton back and forth easily without the cotton fraying or any movement of the...
Rubber gloves will give a good grip as well. Took me a while to realize that you don't have to screw down hard on your gear. If you have to use pliers or vice grips pad the tank with a soft but sturdy cloth and only grip the metal part of the tank, not the glass. Second the warning about Smok...
I forgot to mention that when I transfer to glass bottles for freezing I do it with everything at room temp. Same when mixing DIY juices. That way I know I am getting accurate level of nic in the final product. The difference, expansion wise, may be negligible, but it makes me feel better. :2c:
I used an acrylic water pitcher and a funnel to transfer my gallon, filling it half full at a time and pouring into 500ml bottles. I topped each bottle off with argon, which is heavier than oxygen so settles on the surface of the nic like a barrier. Argon is easy to find online as it's used to...
The thing that stands out to me in all this mess is that vape products are required to be labeled as containing nicotine, even if they don't, and that nicotine is an addictive substance. Compare that to the Surgeon Generals warning on tobacco products. The same level of health warnings aren't...
