Nope..no check valve.. never heard of an atty with one.
In the standard Kayfun air is non adjustable always open. Those with AFC at least v1 and 2 were screw controled. NOTHING OVER very restrictions lung hit for draws. V3 and later offer more air.

A battery is like a garden hose.. you turn on the water you have flow. At max flow say the faucet your battery.. puts out say 10 gallons a minute.... so that's max flow.. or amps.... now using just the hose the pressure of the water coming out is your voltage....... what happens to that...
Well here's the deal any setup I use MUST be pocket friendly.. it must be able to be laid down without concern for orientation....
My current ADV is an Avocado22 in single coil mode. Backup is a KFL plus...
Both tanks Will leak under the wrong conditions... the Kayfun as example is very...
Flooding is leaking in my book... where does the excess go?
So are you saying if I wick an Engine with A ready wick or silica. I can still pocket carry it... it won't leak when on its side?
I ask because I prefer Silica type wick
.... if I can get it to work.... I prefer it for flavor...
Got a challenge for those that say the OBS Engine is leak proof.... wick it with Silica..... or stainless mesh......
Top air tank are more resistant to leakage. Top air reduces the affect of condensation mainly because the condesation that does collect. Flow back down the air channel into...
The problem is too much juice on the coil...
while I agree the cure are adjusting the wick and power to compensate. I will caution it might not be the amount of wick in the coil causing the issue.. I missed what atty this is. This can also be caused by too little cotton in the tails with...
Almost exactly what I do...
Really if your going to dry burn anyway there's no reason to wash the coil..... you might want to wash the tank fine just do it before you dry burn and rewick....

Wicking and building is a process for every atty tank or dripper even for every build and every kind of wick in every build in every atomizer. Sometimes that process is easy sometime not. Sometimes the gizmo your using just SUCKS.
Oh did I mention even the juice can affect everything else...
I'll agree the top rings are a weak point. But wick placement does matter. Mine dont leak except for condesation. Carry it them in my pocket all the time... hard to keep a nano tank on 18500 or 18350 tube upright all the time.

What's in your water?
What kind of wire?
Could be that rust is the coating you want... just stained. If it's flaking wire I say dry burn at lower temperature and get different wire.

Leave the wick out and lay it on it side....... or flip it over. Like it in you pocket all day. Still not leaking...
You find a tank that passes the no wick test... I'll question If it can feed juice to a coil at all.... tank has to "leak" some just for the juice to get to the coil.

Why? welding machines do it every day. So do car ignitions. Take much more than 12volts to fire a spark plug......
In both cases input volts are multiplied exponentially.

Well my regulated mod puts out up to 9volts on 1 18650 battery...
The battery never puts out more than 4.2 volts yes... but the circuit board converts or boosts that 4.2 volts or less to up to 9 volts or less. You are correct the batteries output only goes down with use.
