Ok try 8 wraps of either on a 3mm core..... start with the mod set to about 15watts.....
With either of those wires to get performance like the clapton you will need to build kinda on the higher ohm side or go with multi wire or multi coil builds.

Depends on power and juice longevity should be from 1 day to a month or so for the wick and 1 day to multi years on the coil. Just like any coilhead or build.

Are you using a coil calculator like Vape tool or steam-engine? VT is easy and Steam will help understand.
We can't help without knowing what you want and what you have to work with to get there.

The only authentic Kayfun I have seen..in person... was what I would call a sand blasted finish.. I guess you could call it satin.. online I have only seen polished versions and brushed.

You need to use a needle to fill through the bottom... can be done with regular dropper but more messy.
I bottom fill my kayfuns... it's just easier. I use KFL and a 3.1..... 3.1 being side filled.. must use plastic needle bottle on that one..... top gill work once you get the hang of...
Also if the coil is too low the wick can siphon juice down the air hole.. note a drop or two out the air hole isn't a leak.. that's condensation buildup and draining.
If you are top filling.. start threads then flip tank over to screw top on..... this will force excess air out of the tank...
And don't. Over tighten the segments.... this will also cause o ring issues.
How are you filling the tank?
Describe or put photo of you build and wicking.
I cut my wick so that they just brush the deck over the channels.

Your going to need a diamond grinding wheel to flatten out the cut.. no way your going to freehand a clean cut....
Going to be easier and cheaper to just buy the pieces you need.

This assumes you are already getting a good vape in TC.... what if you are getting a good vape in VW using a self created curve...... and you find that those settings don't translate to TC. At least as far as you have found.....
Wouldn't it be nice to see temp wise on the graph what you VW...
I can't tell if the PI settings do anything on the Pico so far..... could be I have just not found the right build for TC yet..... or the right settings.

Thats why I've kept it.. TC just isn't working for me. I also think the Eleaf FW is a bit smoother.
But the VW control with the AF firmware is much better than the Eleaf.. the Power Curves allow me to control the vape temp the way I want TC to do it.
SO I have 1 TC profile to keep trying...
1. No all in one place documentation I have found.... at this point I think they expect users are already familiar with these functions.
2. Don't need or want clock on my mod.. so don't use.
3. Yes.
4. Don't think presets have anything to do with wattage...... I thought it was just...
No I don't need bling... or to proclaim my social status, to the world.....
A simple black or brushed metal box is fine for me.. although I prefer more ergonomic shaping....
Fact Is the guts and function of the mod are much more important to me than looks.
Solid gold and diamond incrusted...
When I am choosing between two clones.. and I can't see any real difference I flip a coin or buy the cheaper one.
If both are available via fasttech I Will read the reviews there.

No vari_volt....... you can display vape voltage... use that to set watts.
Really for most mods this doesn't add features..... it really just ads adjustabilty to existing features. I guess it gives you TCR or TFR if you mod doesn't have them. Both those aren't new features just different...
Have been saving for every wire type. When I change the build I look v to see if I have a file for that wire combination. Load it most of my preferences will already be set.

There are 8 of the each is independently programable...... say you have 8 atties with eight different builds... you could set up 8 smart profiles. So that when you attach one the mod automatically switches to that profile.. or like I do shut off the smart feature.. and disable unused...
