Paging the Hive mind
Can you estimate gauge? Number wrap and id. Might give an idea of how it was used and more if an idea of what you really have. Get batts in figure out its volt or watts range. Will help... but that wiring looks pretty light too me so I'm thinking low wattage regardless of volts. IDK...- 93gc40

Avocado24 tank build
Gets annoying having to constantly add juice and change batteries. Easy way to do that is learn to build and vape at lower wattages..... Playing with high wattage builds is fun to do........ it just not my prefered way to vape. Heck the build in my mech is pushing around 90watts... -

If the 2x 18350 are only about a mm short. My guess is those are the correct batts. The spring may be wrong or collapsed. I would not use the 18650 protected batt.. below 1ohm or about above 15 watts or so. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk- 93gc40

But it's easy to build above 1 ohm for TC using Stainless wire. Biggest issue here is most TC mods are setup to TC at lower ohms. Electrical metalugical and physics theory is the same in vaping as it is anywhere else these things apply. having nine lives... is not why there is more than one... -

Why don't more vapers use TC?
What does tank vs dripper have to do with it.. my avocado and Hobo have basically the same deck and chambers.. the only real difference is where the juice is stored. Storage location doesn't affect vapor. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk -

Actually the coils in a multi coil build do NOT need to be identicle. Same ohm rate yes. But you can stagger the build resulting in a multi heat ranged or staged build. Electrically they should match but physical match is not always required. Newbies should probably not play with staged... -

Fwiw I regularly vape with cotton wick at 500 to 600 degrees.... although I prefer 350 to about 450.... 420 may be when dry cotton burns..... wet cotton can go much higher. Can't advise on watts.. don't know fir sure what you have........ I do know if you are burning wicks the power is to... -

I see now.41 on 28ss. That's a hot coil.. I'd add a wrap or 3. Or twist 2 strands together try 5 or 6 wraps of that. You got a 100 watt mod go for 3x28 parallel or twisted. Don't worry much about ohm... you can always add wraps to cool a vape, remove to warm... keep the builds between about... -

Is enough juice getting into the coils to prevent burning? Are the coil so big they are staying hot way too long. Thus burning the wick while cooling. What is you wattage set at? Default is max in TC...... 4 clicks on fire to adjust. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk -

Atomizer short could mean the atty is loose the coil is loose or just reading too low... If you ever get burned cotton taste.. REPLACE the cotton it us burned... you won't get you flavor back till you do. Reduce wattage before you fire on the next wick. Again if you are using the Kanthal... -

Suggestions for best M2L tank
The Avocado 22 in single coil mode is almost as good as the Kayfun when built to kayfun wattages....... although it does better with lower than kayfun type builds. Current Avocado build. 28/30 twisted on 2.9mm at .4 ohm running at 15 watts VW or 20 on TC. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk -
