Rayon wick, better flow, flavor, saturation and Nic Hit!

Quick update. Patriot is hitting like a champ. Not as productive as the PV but I expected that. The vape is outstanding as is shown above. So I have two different theories and IMO a 60/40 chance that either one is the problem. 1. The juice. The juice just can't handle huge clouds at moderate...

I vote for ice cream since I am still stocked up from the last shake sale, not a huge tobacco fan, and have a lot of fruits already. Although.... My shake stash is 12 mg and I need 6, I wouldn't mind trying some flavored tobaccos (I got RY4 off sale and it was pretty good), and different...

Rayon wick, better flow, flavor, saturation and Nic Hit!

Thanks Jax! I read that thread during a search for PV clone issues. I figured there was a support group for us and found the main thread. I did try wicking like that and many other ways as well which did not get rid of the harsh taste. I am ruling out the possibility that it is/was dirty ATM.

Ok new (old really) build on a different RDA. Twisted 30ga (maybe 32) at 1.3 ohms on a Patriot clone with drilled out airholes (@18W). First hit was a little harsh like the old RDA but after that it was smooth sailing. This thing hits really well for the $12 that I paid for it. I aligned the air...

I have tried duals and single twisted. The single twisted in normal wick configuration seemed to be more "active" popping and such and did vape fine for a little while. Either way I still get that harsh taste. I did clean it really good. I used scorching hot water and soaked and scrubbed it in...

Ok, so how are you RDA users not burning the heck out of juice with airflow coming in from one or both sides? I am using 30ga 2 parallel strands on one side of a dual coil dripper (Plume Veil clone) and for some reason I am getting "sharp", chemical tasting hits every time (1.5 ohm build at...

Maybe some of us have been cheating on their vv and are feeling a little guilty. :glare: Sent from my One using Tapatalk Edit: whoa just noticed that my rig is reading 3.8 ohms. No wonder this thing starting to taste off, it was nuking the juice! Loose screws.....

Sooooo the other day I visited my clinic for a yearly physical. In the corner I saw a box of Rayon tipped swabs. I decided to pocket a few and see if there is any difference between that and the Graham CC that I have. Nope, vapes just the same. I thought to myself... Am I a Rayon addict...

Twisted wire is fun to do so that you can thicken up rather flimsy wire like 32 ga. I am using twisted 30/30 7 wraps around a precision screwdriver which yields about 1.5 ohms. Works perfectly on a regulated mod for me. You can mix and match wires like I have some 30/32 twisted wire for S&G...

I would leave the wicks alone since you are dripping. You could thin them out but is it reeeeeally necessary? I have been dripping for the past two weeks with no issues with the wicking in fatboy mode Sent from my One using Tapatalk

    P4U/Green Leaf IPV2 50W - Product Spec, Performance, Usage & Issues Thread

Battery sag may just be a visual artifact of the load being supplied. It is possible that the battery monitoring circuit isn't working like it should when you hit the fire button. Analog to digital readings take time and the sampling rate can't get a good read in the time given. You could have...

Ain't that the truth! It seems as if I can smell a smoker from a mile away. I can't believe that I smelled like that for so long. Funny thing the other day I gave my wife a kiss and she looked at me funny then pulled me back in and took a big sniff. She said what is that? I said probably...

I would add what a flavor shot actually is if it can be explained to the layman. Will these be necessary with the proposed increase in flavor percentages? Currency displayed seems to be set automagically? I am guessing by the account location? I believe DIY and Tobacco are still in progress...

I am doing this because I do not trust the build quality of the device. For some strange reason it has been tuning off with just a slight tap on either the side or bottom. I stretched the spring a little and that may have fixed it. When I first inspected the device the "dirty" looking positive...

Michigan: Excise ("Sin") Tax on E-Cigarettes - Call To Action

Sorry to derail, but why in the world would the state lose revenue? "We" all know that vaping is not a smoking cessation product and all us vapers will be back to regular tobacco in due time! :p

I think dropping both tails (per coil) down the well will be your best bet to keep everything saturated. You drip from the top so you should be fine and the rest should pool in the well if there is overflow and when you tip it the juice will hit the rayon and wick... I think.
