I upped mine to 0610 and it warms it up better for me. Seems as if my builds settle out really low and prior to 3.0 update I was locking in about 0.1 ohm higher (by heating and removing and allowing it to cool slightly) to get the vape that I wanted.
Now I have m1 set at 0610.
Turn unit off.
Press fire and up (hold until you see tcr settings).
You should now enter the mode to set the TC.
It is rather simple from there Fire button is toggle and up/dn are what they should be.
Not sure how to lock in. Just let it be? or Turn it back on with 5 clicks.
Edit: 5 clicks to...
Ok that helps.
Dunno then. Does it do it with all builds/attys? Could be a faulty connection.
You said you downgraded to 1.07. Was the problem on 1.08 and not on 1.07?
Jan if your resistance did indeed jump that high I'd suspect a bad connection with either the screws to coil or the 510. No matter how funky your build gets it should not jump resistance.
Well, ideally of course. In my short time of vaping I have not seen this happen, or experienced it myself...
Twisted is notorious for capturing the funk. Once it starts it just cascades until your build is toast.
I usually stick with single coil builds that are spaced. If the coil gets crusted on the outside it is usually isolated to just the skinny coil section itself and doesn't propogate to its...
I think they may be better for flavor, but the wicking can be a little tricky. Either way it is fun to experiment and see what works for you.

See above. I edited my post with a added pic of a simple horizontal build.
Trolldragon's above is a vertical build (dual)

I think you are OK. You configuration is a little different than the standard horizontal coil.
Standard horizontals seem to self clean if they are not touching the chamber top or walls. I don't know where the darkness goes, but i do know that if the wick is isolated it will remain clean for a...
Sitting at 3.77 3.81 and 3.87 after a 4-5 hour USB charge last night. Looks like a 0.1 max variance this time.
I don't think that is a problem in may case.
As for the firmwares I think we'll have to wait for the RX200 specific one as it has 3x18650 versus the 2 and 1 models with TCR. Me thinks the circuitry inside is completely different (at a minimum how the batteries are wired and recognized by the board).
Most variance I have seen is 0.09v. Most of the time one or the other is about 0.05 off. Two seem to be really close all the time with each other.
Honestly hundreth(s) of a volt is nothing to worry about. 0.7 though is a little more worrisome.
Right now I am at 3.44 3.45 and 3.50 at the tail...
I doubt it. They missed the mark with no firmware upgrade-ability. Now that this thing is on clearance I don't really foresee a revival. IMO the internal battery turned people off. To me it was awesome with about 3 days between charges.
I'd like to be proven wrong though!!
