    DIY Rule number 1: Always source your supplies from a reputable company. Amazon/ebay are NOT reputable sources for batteries or juice supplies. Saving $2 by risking your health is backwards thinking.

    Its not your batteries. As stated above, the employee is an idiot, doesnt understand how a battery works, and has no business advising vapers. I would avoid that store entirely. They are just asking for a lawsuit.

    This is why I suggested moving them around. I do the opposite. I prefer coils closer to the air flow.

    Airflow is the biggest variable. Move the coils around and experiment. Coil placement is key. Your tastes are going to be different than everyone else so you'll need to do the fine tuning to suit you Dont do this. This isnt going to help.

    I have a few mods that will most likely hold one. I bet my Chi-You and King would. Definitely would handle the length. 2mm isn't alot, and most mods with battery rattle adjustment will move more than 5mm to accommodate the extra length. Either way this is a great excuse for me to go to Harbor...

    Im going to be honest and not beat around the bush. Lose the claptons/twisted/ artsy coils. There is too much metal mass and too many variables for anyone to sort your issues with those things installed. Try a simple single strand dual coil build like @Kprthevapr suggested and we can more...

    I got my clone from 3fVape. Any hardwood would work. Stabilized wood is better. Look online for places that sell wood for Knife handles. Stabilized wood is alot cheaper than modders would have you believe. ;) A router and a drill press would save alot of headaches.

    Carrying a charger and spare batteries arent a solution and is beside the point. Cig a likes have around 175 to 375 mah. A single average 18650 has between 1500-3000 mah. Thats like 10x the battery life of a cig a like. That's why you dont see more cig a likes.
