The reason its NOT counterfeiting is because the authentic modders dont own the design. It's a flashlight with a momentary switch, and they cannot get a utility patent or design patent on it. No one can. It's over 100 years old and not their design. -

Weak hitting mod

Thats alot of text. Before I rebutt, Im a retired machinist. I have some professional knowledge of metal manufacturing. Most of what you posted isnt accurate at all. All the raw materials used in authentic mods ( brass, copper, stainless steel, ect) comes from China. None of it is expensive... -
Weak hitting mod
Yes if you excede the CDR of the cell and build extremely low you can somewhat compensate for the ramp up lag due to the extra metal mass. But think about that for a minute. That's alot of concession to force an inefficient coil to work properly. ;) Or at least, thats my perspective. -

There are thousands of clones for every single authentic. Our minor anecdotal experiences mean little. That was my point. The guy with the garage shop doesn't have the same equipment as a massive factory that gets subsidies from the Chinese government. Thats not to say some authentic mods... -

The outer wraps are heated by the inner wire. Thats why they have a longer ramp up time. Its alot of metal and the wrap acts as a heat sink. Obviously thinner/different wire will affect how much this alters the end vape, and using the build on a higher powered regulated device will make up for... -

I find the opposite. Today, most mechs in China are made in state subsidized factories with state of the art manufacturing equipment. Most "authentics" are made in small shops with a shoestring budget that requires "pre sales" to get enough capital to operate. Many dont even have a legit... -

Claptons are inefficient due to the large mass of metal, and will heat slowly on a mech. Those exotic coils look cool but they don't function any better than a single strand coil. They arent designed for single cell mechs. Claptons and exotic coils are why we have 200w+mods. You need more... -
