Users report that over time this becomes a problem so in the past 24 hours I have opened it and closed it (complete disassemble) 10-12 times. Yes the threads suck but I am able to refill and replace the RBA without any issues so far. Nothing however is buttery smooth ie air flow ring, juice...
The way the chimney is placed if you did use loctight then you would never be able to replace the glass. Honestly I haven't had many issues with my V2 yet. I don't see an issue if you have a die kit in cleaning up the threads. I plan to do it myself and it should be just fine.
Honestly I have taken it apart now 6 times. I'm not saying that some won't be hard or it won't get harder but as of now it seems fine. I'll still say not the best tank design and the treads to kinda suck but man the flavor and vapor production when wicked properly is outstanding. I do recommend...
I posted this in another thread but feel it is more appropriate here.
I just received mine in the mail. First impressions make you want to scream. Why is the chimney designed this way??? The build is more of a medium difficulty. Long hits still end up dry but for my first build I do not fault...
I just received mine in the mail. First impressions make you want to scream. Why is the chimney designed this way??? The build is more of a medium difficulty. Long hits still end up dry but for my first build I do not fault the tank. I am terrified to remove the base as it may pour liquid...
So does anyone one actually own the V2 that was not a part of the trial run? I'm really curious if these issues have been fixed. If they have I have a strong feeling this tank will be the one to beat.
So not sure exactly what I bought but I ordered the Goliath V2 from Vape NW. This is my first purchase from them but they claim it is 100% legit and it should be here tomorrow. I read all the bad reviews and I still bought one. I just want to believe they fixed it I guess cause like others have...
No I was not subtracting the difference from the resistance of the leads. I will say that when I do measure a known resistor it is pretty dead on. I have a few high accuracy resistors and the 1 ohm reads .99 ohms-1 every time. Maybe the multimeter is set to compensate for the resistance...
@sacullen I measure my resistance using a $40 multimeter. It does in fact have some error but overall not enough to make that large of a difference. I'm also measuring it from the base of the tank so I guess the resistance that the battery sees give or take. I am open to any advice on this of...
Currently I have it set up to 3-4 wraps of 24 awg kanthal. Not ideal due to the low wraps and surface area but surprisingly outputs great flavor and vapor.
Honestly I've been using the tiny screw driver the sub tank ships with. It seems as though they are fairly small. My guess is no more than 2.5mm though...but remember I am only running single coils on the subtank since I could not get the post to properly accept twisted. Basically I've been...
@Mad Scientist Thanks for the response. I realize that the V2 hasn't been released so it's hard to establish a strong opinion of an RTA until you have it in hand so it's good to hear others like the V1 as much as I did. I really like the sub tank. It puts out great flavor and large clouds...
Hey guys I need some advice/help. I've been vaping and building my own could for a little over a year so I understand the principle and safety measurements that need to be taken. I am looking at ordering the new Goliath V2. Everything I've read seems to fix my complaints about the V1 ( I...
The only reason I am interested in doing the swap to the smaller batteries is bc I'm addicted to the areotank v2 and the nautilus bvc. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but both tanks only like to run at a max of 10 watts without burning taste using 1.6 ohm coils. The large battery lasts on...
Ok guys not sure if this thread is still going but I just bit the billet and purchased the supreme. Was interested in the P3 but when I saw this it seems better and cheaper. My question though is as I wait for it to be delivered what are my battery options out of the box. Is the ptc4 the only...
