I bought a juice called Blue Bicycle just because of the name thinking it would be blueberry or something. Not. Harsh, nasty, chemical taste is all I got from it. Don't remember where I bought it but I'll never vape anything with bicycle in its name again. Another one called Turbosmog wasn't...
Looking around the website I see they have a sleeve too that looks like Ekowool. I also spotted a "Hollow knitted stainless steel mesh" that looks like is available in a cable or rope. Wonder if that would be any better than the flat SS mesh we roll for wicks. Kinda off topic I know. Sometimes I...
Should work as well I would think. Only difference I can see is that the Ekowool is hollow in the middle. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing really. I guess it depends on how you use it. Worth a try and keep us posted on how it works for you.
I have a Vamo and a few others but not a Provari at least yet. If you have the $$ I would go Provari. Vamo is OK but not built the best IMO. I have a few issues with the fire button always working or working right, sometimes I get a weak vape and have to press the fire button again to get back...
Might look at Discountvapors web site, the have a Wildfire VV device for $44 bucks. I have one for use when I'm doing yard work or some activity that could get a good mod damaged or lost. It will take 18650 or 18350 batteries and has good reviews on that site. I haven't had any problems with...
Well you could look at a Saber Touch form Vapormoon, it's a solid device from all I've heard and can be had in VV model. Also a Buzz or Infinity Pro from NotCigs would be a good device. You don't here of many problems with these devices and they seem to be built for long life. I believe they are...
Have you looked at the Buzz Pro? It would use your same batteries, has improved controller and easy to set voltage now. Can even use your same top caps if needed. Check out Notcigs if you haven't already. Doesn't have all the fancy stuff but it built to last. I've had my Infinity Pro for a long...
I think you'll like it. Still Vaping well for me. Planning on rewicking some more attys tomorrow and see how it works in them.

I ordered the Ekowool and so far I really like it. Seems to wick better than twisted silica. It is hollow in the middle so you could also use it as a sleeve.
I got the 2 and 3 mm. It unravels easy but if torched it is stiffer and doesn't unravel as bad. I got it from Cloud 9.

No mesh, the wire rope is dark from my trying to oxidize it and when the Ekowool is wet it get almost clear.
In the A8 I ended up taking the 2mm Ekowool out and tried the 3mm. I wasn't able to get both ends of the wick through the hole down into the tank. Would take a larger hole for that...
This is how the Ekowool looks with a wire rope in the center.
It slid right into my mini DID and 'so far' is working out great for me.
I'll give it some time and see how it holds up.

It slid right into my mini DID and 'so far' is working out great for me. I torched it after I slid the Ekowool on the as rope and it held together well.
I'll give it some time and see how it holds up.

I did some more testing/messing/playing around and rewicked my Terminator but by that time I was getting tired and I wasn't having much luck and basically struggled through it. I was surprised that it did fire up and is every bit as good as my previous builds with a standard 2 mm twisted silica...
So my EKO Wool arrived today from Cloud 9. I did try it out in a A8 that I needed to rewick and never has worked well for me using standard silica or cotton. I used the 2mm and wrapped a 1.7 ohm coil around the Eco Wool and filled the tank. So far it is working great and much better than...
I know, had to think about it a bit before I decided to go ahead and get it. If the wife finds out I'm dead. I just haven't been having much luck lately with any of my RBA's. My terminator has been consistent but that's about it. Hoping this ekoWool will work even better in it and help with some...
