I tried the vertical build and I found that it doesn't wick so well. Probably it's my wicking method that is the problem. I may need to re-visit youtube again...
Nah, I tried nano and micro coils on the PT and still not good. I've re-built it many times and gave up on the PT's. Kayfuns or RDA's are all I ever use at the moment.
Usually have my KFL on my Provari but......I thought I'd try some harsh juice that I was about to throw out so I loaded up a Protank 2. The Protank made it somewhat vapeable :vapor:
I've experienced this with most dual coil RDAs. You can minimize it by starting with two pieces of kanthal cut to the same length. I also use two drill bits and wrap the at the same time and try to have the same leg lengths. If you have multimeter you can measure resistance before inserting the...
Basically batteries with high mah rating would last longer. At 2 ohms you will be vaping at a max of 8.82 watts at 2.1 amps on a fully charged battery but that will drop as the voltage drops. Something like this will work great. Panasonic High Drain NCR18650PD Hybrid 2900mAh Flat Top - Batteries...
All solid choices. I have those Panasonics and the AW 18350's. There are just too many fake products out there, it matters more that you get them from a reputable vendor. No experience on the Xtar chargers but hear they are one of the best around. I use efest LUC charger and performs very well...
I'd say charger as well. I'll never buy another charger from amazon either. I had the Nitecore I2 from there and it killed my batteries and finally died as well. It was making a weird buzzing noise too. I would not trust buying batteries from amazon or ebay as there are so many clone batteries...
Lol I haven't had that many to not notice. I did just take a paperclip and stuck it in the air hole and yeah it's definitely going all the way through now. We'll see the next time I take it apart and measure it again.
Hmmm mine was about 90 degrees from that picture. I just took it apart and aligned like the picture and notice no difference in air flow or performance. Weird.
Not a fan of that carry caddy. One of the latches broke on day one. I got a small case from bass pro shops for around $10and it's been great so far.
