Depends, and it's both. You need a fast enough CPU, which most mods without TC wouldn't need and therefore don't have, and you'd need high enough quality parts to measure resistance accurately down to a thousandth of an ohm, and you'd need enough RAM to store temperature curves. Beyond that... -

You DO realize why YiHi did that, don't you? It was to get around Evolv's patent on temperature limiting. The way it works is exactly the same as setting watts. If you set 30W on an Evolv and fire it for 1 second, you get 30J of energy. The Joules setting only happens in temperature limiting... -

I have it on good authority that the Radius will be a 40W device. It will also have a "Douglas Adams" mode that will allow it to be used at 42W, but the catch is it only works in the restaurant at the end of the universe. Lightening the mood a bit... :) -

SXmini M Class (TEMP CONTROL)
Sad to report the M-class has the same display bug as the S-class when you roll over 1,000,000 Joules. My display now reads v00000. The S-class kept putting garbage characters in the 100,000's digit every 100,000 - the "v" is the only "letter" - the rest are glitches. Doesn't affect anyone... -

Yes - I believe it will help the P3 connector adoption. I think many people are not buying P3 atty's because they could only use them on their P3 (and now Radius). It's rather limiting, hindering adoption, IMHO. -
