    Yihi SX350J Technology Discussion Thread

The DNA200 is using a different screen - the screen refresh code was just "left in there". Probably never get triggered, but no need to remove it, "just in case".

Next time you're at a sporting goods store, spend $2 on a "pool noodle". Slice it down the side and make necessary cuts for screen, button, etc. Make sure it's one piece, and tie it off somewhere on the top and bottom or the P3 could slip out. I haven't tested this out - just thinking up a...

IIRC, this has come up in other threads, and someone determined tapatalk was to blame. I don't use tapatalk so I can't help troubleshoot, but make sure you're using the latest version. I post photos from my iphone and they work fine. Yes, it is related to the EXIF metadata, and how tapatalk...

I don't know about the DNA40/DNA200, but the SX350J has been tested accurate with a $10,000 FLIR in public at a trade show. Unless you have such equipment, how would you know which is accurate? I haven't seen any such tests with the DNA40, but it was the first temperature control chip out...

Taste Your Juice | THE CAT’S DNA IS OUT OF THE BAG… So it seems Evolv have seen the light. Finally, they'll be able to upgrade the firmware (which couldn't be done at all on current products). Like YiHi, you'll be able to update the firmware at home. Food for thought ProVape... Sell an...

Wow! There are a couple really cool tips I'd have jumped on in this bunch... If I didn't already have a prickly pear cactus tip, I'd have been upset I missed the very cool "Purple Heart and Cactus Lace" tip. Great combination! I love my bog oak tips, and thought 3000 years was pretty old...

I missed that you're using a P3 - the previous post was about a v2.5 Mowgli is correct - you're not seeing battery voltage on the P3. TO - The battery % alternates with the voltage needed to achieve your wattage setting.

3.6V vs 3.9V is the difference between the battery under load in the ProVari, and being charged in the charger. The charger will always read a little higher due to it being charged, and the ProVari will always read a little lower due to it being read while under load (firing the coil). As for...

I do, but I turn off the display, just in case it dims over time. The charger itself remains completely cold, so I'm not worried about it wearing out. They didn't put a power switch on it, which is a sign it's meant to be plugged in 24/7.

It probably is. Most battery packs are 18650's or 26650's. What do you think is in the battery pack of a Tesla? These lithium batteries we use were never meant for individual use - they were meant for use in a battery pack.

I agree with everything you said. It's "better"; it's the "right thing to do"; etc. The first vape shop I visited, and where I got my first mod (ProVari v2.5), was very close to where I used to work. I was loyal to that shop, and visited several times a week. I bought all kinds of extra...
