SXmini Q Class Powered by YiHi SX450 chip

They already make something like that in partnership with VF, the VaporFlask SX. 100 watts, but parallel, so the amp draw per battery is halved.

I think I want this thing though, regardless of the power controversy.

NEW YIHI SX MINI ML CLASS!

What Powerful does is add more wattage for the first second or so for a faster ramp-up (in your particular case, it fires at almost 50w), then it drops back down to your set wattage. What you could do is increase the base wattage to somewhere around 48-50w, and run it in Standard so it's a...

    UD Bellus issues

If it's leaking, chances are good it's not wicked properly. Roxy's diagram does a good job illustrating how to wick it. And the coil height matters for leaking too, a higher coil generally has more wick material to absorb the juice. Other issues might be runny high PG juice (not something I...

    Vaporflask partnered with Wismec/Joyetech

Max device voltage is limited by resistance, and that's bounded by amperage, no two ways around it. And the Stout simply does not fire at all if the battery level (after sag) is too low, you have to manually reduce your wattage setting to get it to fire at that point. I reckon that voltage low...

    Vaporflask partnered with Wismec/Joyetech

VF offers the Brillpower 26650 (not sure who the real maker is under the wrap), and I'm willing to give VF the benefit of the doubt on both choosing a decent and safe battery to offer for sale to go with their device, and being sensible about the power rating on the Stout, since it's their...

    Vaporflask partnered with Wismec/Joyetech

It's a 26650 in the Stout, and 100w is no problem for a quality battery, but if you use the supplied 18650 adapter, it automatically reduces max output to 75 watts.

Boxer Mod 75W with YiHi SX350J-V2 Temperature Control

I love Varitube to death, but I'd never ever buy a Renegade for myself. Objectively not that good looking, and no, it's NOT small by today's dual 18650 standards. Look at the Cuboid, Asolo, Cloupor GT, Smok R200, among others to see what a compact dual 18650 device looks like.

Choices for good TC capable RTAs

See, you guys are the ones I was talking about...no real experience with anything since 2014. :) Crius, Bellus, Goliath V2, Griffin, Billow V2, Mutation Tank, Serpent, Aromamizer, Zephyrus, all primarily built for lung hits, and all produce better flavor the STM, have a LOT more build...

    UD Bellus issues

Little late to the party here, but the Bellus is pretty sensitive to coil height in regards to flavor. It's been my experience that the flavor increases with the coil height above the deck...in other words, you want the airflow to be coming from underneath the coil more than from the sides, if...

    New Forum Software?!! (Theme)

If I'm on ECF while staring at my mobile zombiebox, I'm using TapaTalk, not the browser. In which case, the theme doesn't matter, since everything is in the Tapatalk format. :)

Choices for good TC capable RTAs

There's been a lot of progress in the RTA market since a year ago when the STM was first released. It's average at best, has connectivity issues across all three revisions, it has a sub-par deck compared to more "modern" offerings and only looks good in comparison to the Kayfun style decks...

    New Forum Software?!! (Theme)

Hooray for style chooser. I use a 27" 4K widescreen monitor for most of my browsing, and all that mobile-friendly/portrait-centric white space with the new theme was killing me. :)
