^^ I'd also add that a drop or two of machine oil (I use the stuff that came with my Andes hair clippers) in the lock ring threads and flat side will prevent future lock ups. -

I'd say do your homework on it before using it. Is "harmful if swallowed" when it dry or only when wet? What components are harmful? -

No clue. May be worth checking MSDS on it. I'd also squirt some out on a sheet of paper and let it dry. Once it's fully dried or cured, give it a sniff & taste test. -

I agree, I don't mind the wait as long as there are updates and some pics on occasion. Just went thought it with the ELA. A very long wait but I never sweated it. Dave usually does a good job of keeping everyone up to speed on where he's at. -

The since the satin version is not currently being offered (and hasn't been for a little while now), there will be more than a few people willing to swap with you. Could remedy that with an o-ring or neoprene washer under the battery. Then use washers to reduce the button throw. What sux is the fact that we have to think about this crap in the 1st place.
