Hey Uke! Good to see you here.
As for a BF micro-gen... I've been putting some thought into it and I have an idea that should work but I need to put my hands on some lead free solder paste to make it work (and be safe). If I get it figured out, I'll make sure you get one. Pdib too if he...
Glad to be here... I meant every word. Great work!
I'm really glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks so. Looks like you've got a hit on your hands... The next Caravela of BF box mods. :D
Well... It's official... I'm the worst beta tester in history. I've had my pdib mod for close to a month now and I'm just now getting around to providing feedback. (I really do apologize pdib).
Also... The ECF just ate my homework. I just spent an hour writing out a detailed review of this...
I get my screws by emailing info(at)fastmetalproducts(dot)com
They are 00x90x1" brass flathead screws and 00x90 nuts. Make sure you get at least 2 nuts for every screw (a few spare nuts are a good idea because they are tiny and almost impossible to find if dropped).
Yes... The center pin (pos pin) needs to be isolated from the rest of the device, which is ground.
The pos end of the battery should only make contact with the center pin and nothing else.
To clarify... The entire device (except for the center pin) is ground. If the center pin makes direct...
The Kanger Protank 2... It's smaller and lighter that anything from KF.
They work, in principal, similar to the KFs, being that they are both bottom coil clearomizer type designs... The only real difference is that KPT2 has a much smaller air chamber which,IMO, gives it the edge in vape...
Not this design per se... Tying off the wire at the top of the pos post makes it incompatible with penetrating the bottom of the tank. That said, the individual bits and pieces could easily be rearranged to mimic a Picullisci style design...
Thrown in a ceramic cup from a 510 atty and you could...
Thank Idaho. I appreciate the compliment.
Yea... Been taking a bit of an ECF break. Started getting burned out and wasn't seeing any new ideas that peaked my interest. I still check in from time to time but I inevitably come across a thread or post that makes me want to stab my eyes out... So...
That is an unprotected LiCo battery. It SHOULD NOT be used for vaping. (or anything else for that matter)
Don't skimp on batteries. Find a good LiMn high drain battery.
The AW 18650's are always a good safe bet. If you're vaping resistances around 1 ohm or lower, go with the AW 1600mah version...
Shape of the wing causes the air to move faster over the top surface than the bottom. The faster moving air causes a reduction in air pressure above the wing compared to below, resulting in lift... Or something like that...
