    If you have one of the earlier releases of the ipv4 it is likely the charge board, open it up and take it out if it is.

    Use the rda with a 510 then use it with a chuff cap and you tell me what the difference is. The restriction of the chimney is what kills most rtas that advertise huge clouds/airflow. all the air coming in doesnt mean diddly if you cant get it out.

    You stated the resistance and gauge, but you didnt provide the diameter of the coil which will also affect the ramp/cool time of the coil. Too hot is likely your coil placement/airflow. With the amount of airflow those rdas provide, you really should not be getting too hot of a vape.

    I guess.... I usually see corrosion, dirt, etc. cause high resistance in a circuit. not a short. This dirt/corrosion typically does not create another path to ground. it creates high resistance in a circuit. But I guess there are other rules that defy the laws of physics out there.     High resistance caused by corrosion or any other type of factor is not called a short. You would have to rather state it as "high resistance." You generally have 3 problems in a circuit and those would be an "Open," "short to ground/short to power." and "high resistance."
