You want to fire that much coil you are going to need a lot of watts from a regulated device to get any kind of half decent performance. You need smaller gauge wire. build a simple dual parallel or something like that.
same here. I try to get the preheat in sync with the temperature chosen. The vape stays nice and constant rather than a fast hit then the mod slams the brakes. I find that vape unsatisfying. I also agree that the preheat wattage is usually only off give or take 5 watts from what you would vape...
I am at 430 with rayon with 35w preheat the 10 wrap 24awg SS build is .46 single coil 3mm ID. I can go higher and get a much warmer vape with no problem but I think I like it at 430 the charon ts only increments in 10 degrees which kind of stinks rather than 5 or less but it works. i need to...
I also think that a 10 degree adjustment is kind of high id rather see it in 5 degree increments at max. what if i want to vape at 425 instead of 420 or 430.. You cant. This is probably fixable via a firmware upgrade. Or maybe with a software release like they did for the charon tc.
Ok the battery door will move ever so slightly up and down or left and right if you push it hard enough. So while not really a rattle or noticeable while you are holding/vaping etc. the movement is there.
Its short and stocky/hefty. the touch screen is super responsive. The face plates are HUGE fingerprint magnets but it is touch screen after all. Nice big responsive click fire button. Running a SS temp build right now that has not given me a dry hit yet. Have not tested the high wattage range of...
Thanksgiving Day was pretty boring and miserable. 3 Family members were in the hospital with Influenza A. It happens to be a strain of the flu that was not in the flu shot go figure! So I got to stay home watch football and eat food in socks all day. :thumb:
Thank you. First build is a spaced 10 wrap 24awg coil that i am running at 220 C the mod doesnt show F from what I can find yet. so thats about 430 F and it vapes nice i have the preheat set around 33F
Ok, So as much as I use ss316 for coils. I have never used it in temp control with no device to support it. Now that I have the option to try it I am looking for resistance goals with temp settings that work well for people. Doesnt have to be exact settings just ball park it.
