    I do believe twisting going right lowers it and going left goes higher. I use a volt meter to set it. I think the screw will just keep turning but not sure.

    I myself use 32 Kanthal pretty sure it is more as to what is available and preference. Some say the wires have different taste I don't know. So glad you are doing good yourself.
