    I ended up reopening a PayPal but this time the only thing on it is my debit card. Any issue with that and I just get a new one without having to get a new bank account. i won't put my bank account on PayPal ever again.

    Only time anything like that has happened to me it was with paypal. They pretty much refused to do anything. I had to have my bank take care of it. They closed my bank account and moved all the cash to the new account.
