    Here is the spring that is in the bottom tube. As it sits in the mod: With negative battery contact removed: Also do NOT try to torch your switch... My magnet no longer works at all, it's attracted to the other magnet on both sides and fell out of the switch, now my magneto no longer works. :(

    Have you tried cotton as a wicking material? I was never able to get nearly as much vapor production on silica as I can on cotton. Post a picture of your builds, so that we can see what it looks like and give you advice.

    What batteries are you using? Connections on the posts of the dripper not being tight can cause this as well. I'd imagine something may have already been wrong with that positive post and that may be why it was taking so long to heat up.

    You're vaping at about 3 watts on a 4.7 ohm coil, and it's producing too much vapor? I know that not everyone is into cloud-chasing or even low resistance builds, but I think this is the first time I've heard something like that. Lol. PG reduces vapor. So does higher resistance/lower voltage...

    I lied again... Lol. The spring that allows for large batteries is actually in the bottom of the tube, not the top cap or the switch assembly.

    I think it might be the length of the MNKE, because this Efest isn't constantly changing. However, it shows no battery life right now, but still vapes just fine.

    Putting it under the coil can "drown" the coil with juice and it will barely fire. The amount of cotton is really personal preference. Some people like a lot, some people very little. I've noticed that more cotton really just holds juice that never really ends up making it to the coil.

    Rebuilt my kayfun clone for the first time yesterday. 12 wraps, 1.1 ohms, 1/16" ID, 28G. And a centered dual coil build on my Igo-W. 12 wraps, 0.7 ohms, 1/16" ID, 28G.

    Does anyone with a V2 have any issues with the battery life meter? With my MNKE 650, the meter will drop every few hits. Then randomly jump back up. Then it was empty, but kept vaping like normal... Battery seems to be making contact just fine, it's not loose at all. I'm trying a different...

    Now that I think about it, you're right. Mine has a hidden spring in the top cap to allow for larger batteries. I've not had any issues going down to 0.5 ohms, so I'm not sure where they came up with not being able to go below 1.0 ohm.

    There is no spring at all in my 510 top cap, just the insulator and the adjustable pin. I've run as low as .5 ohms with no issues. There are actually no springs at all in my magneto, so I'm not sure what they are referring to. Can you post a link?

    I remember seeing pictures of a top cap after using silica on here and there was a ton of fibers all over the inside. I personally don't want to inhale a fibrous, man made material. Any ever heard of Asbetos? I can't say for sure that silica is unhealthy, but if you're inhaling fibrous...

    Try sterile rolled cotton. It is made to clean/bandage open wounds, so it is sterilized with heat. Most cottons balls(including organic) are bleached with hydrogen peroxide. I don't want to inhale that personally. I HAD to boil the organic cotton balls(CVS) I used or I got a funky taste/weird...
