Should you have a back up mod.

I still think that insisting on using mechs only is odd, these days. Years ago, not so much. Anyway, the reference to "revolvers vs semi-autos" was an analogy. I wouldn't worry about your preference, because in England, your government has already made that decision for you, (wasn't that nice...

Help! Pregnant and Trying NOT to Vape

Yeah, and if we all waited around for medical studies examining such minutiae, a lot of us would still be smoking. So, vape your face off or abstain completely, (I couldn't care less), but don't ask for public validation of irrational fears and then act sanctimonious when you don't get it.

Help! Pregnant and Trying NOT to Vape

There's trace amounts of nicotine in many vegetables. Better avoid those, too! Honestly, you're worrying about utterly insignificant "risks" here. The whole world is carcinogenic, if you look hard enough. Do you plan to raise the child in an airtight bubble after delivery? I'm...

Help! Pregnant and Trying NOT to Vape

^ i before e, except after c. ;) I think you're being overprotective, and I won't encourage that behavior. Breathing the air in any city is worse for you than vaping 0 nic juice, especially if you're not even inhaling. What, exactly, are you so fearful of?

Should you have a back up mod.

Mech mods aren't on a "higher level" than modern regulated mods. They do require more knowledge and care to use safely, though. Imo, the mech purists are an odd breed at this point, (kind of like ppl who insist on using revolvers instead of semi-auto pistols). Most started vaping several...

Bought my first real mod but need a lot of help.

Are you sure? The site implies that $29.99 is for the mod only. What would even be the difference between the kit and "Mod and Melo"? The kit is the Mod and Melo, plus a couple coils and a cord.

Most expensive B&M prices you've seen?

Right.. you're not the one who's acted confused, incoherent, and/or delusional throughout this thread; it's all of us, (apart from Von Vape), who have the problem(s). Sounds reasonable.

Where to find the best price?

Vape NW has very competitive pricing on a lot of hardware, and orders over $75 ship free via 2 day Priority Mail.

What have you bought this week?

Heh, I'll prolly end up buying 2 Pico kits, (1 white, 1 black), by Friday. :D Getting set up to twist wire will be the next step, (haven't done it since '13, built a few crappy coils with SS mesh for "the Russian" on a cheap mech mod). I'd had my eye on the Theorem as well.

Bought my first real mod but need a lot of help.

Yeah, the height of the juice flow holes in the Kanger coils, (and the Mini RBA), is really annoying. It's for that reason that if I continue to use the Toptank often, I'll prolly just use the OEM Ni coils and run it in TC so I don't risk any more dry hits. Kanger also has a ceramic coil in...

Bought my first real mod but need a lot of help.

I'm on a budget, but I'm also lazy. :p Without winding coils or making my own juice, I'm still saving money compared to my old analog habit. Ymmv.

Bought my first real mod but need a lot of help.

Yeah, the 3 is topfill, and wide open, so it couldn't be easier. I think the $30 price is just for the mod, and it's $40 for the kit, which is still a great deal. I consider the tank +2 OEM coils to be worth >$10. I already spent ~$100 on that site this week, (very competitive pricing there)...

Bought my first real mod but need a lot of help.

My Toptank Mini's leaking through the airflow has been annoying. I've just about decided to buy an Eleaf Pico to replace a Topbox as my carry mod. It looks like you can use a wide variety of coils, (including Vaporesso ccell coils), in the Melo III Mini tank that comes with that one, the...

Bought my first real mod but need a lot of help.

It probably does work well at 0.6-1.0 ohm. The premade coil Kanger included in my kit is 0.3 ohm. o_O

Stealth sized box mod at least 75 watts

The Eleaf Pico, (75W), and the Gold Rush Nugget, (50W), would each be good candidates, I think. I saw the Pico kit on sale for $30 yesterday. The Pico uses 18650's and the Nugget has an internal battery. The Cuboid Mini will soon be available as well.

iPV 5 Catches Fire- A reminder to VAPE SAFE

Years ago, vaping took work. These days, it just takes a little common sense, which unfortunately, seems to be in short supply. It may be simple to light the end of a cig, but I wonder how many people die every year due to fires caused by cigs. It's gotta be significantly more than those...

Back to a mech full circle

Information, safety features, and temp control. Modern regulated mods allow you a lot more control over your vaping experience, imo. Several of em also have a bypass mode, too. Just not much of a fan of using a battery tube with a switch when there's excellent, cheap technology specifically...

    Anyone tried these yet?

Not yet, but I really want to. The Notch coil and the Mask coil, (from Horizon Tech), are both coming on the market now. Honestly, I don't see how you could go wrong with either one. They're stainless, (TC mode is great), provide more surface area than anything else their size, and since...
