Sorry to hear about the leaking. Mine doesn't most of the time with the new glass in - but sometimes the body of the mod feels faintly tacky. This looks like airhole leakage to me. I can't fill it much more than half full if I want to be safe. This is not a problem I ever had with the N Mini...
I'm a great Nautilus Mini fan and have several. I have never had one leak - but as noted above the Nautilus 2 does. I can't fill it more than about half full without leakage. The vape quality is marginally better with the 2 imho, but there's not a lot in it. The Mini is reliable and has not...
Tried the other glass tank today - no leaks! The one "fitted" must've been a bit faulty. Many thanks Pictor! :)
By the way - where can we get spare glass tanks from?
Yes - I do use fruit flavours. I'm very fond of the N2 but have given up trying to fill it more than half full. If I do - it leaks. I must have got something wrong somewhere, and can't find a diagram of where the "O" rings are supposed to go. Ah well.
I'm still using the 1.8 ohm coil that I started the Nautilus 2 on. They do seem to last very well in this little beastie! By now it has crept up to 1.93 ohms, so perhaps I'm being optimistic about its future...
Well asked - I've been wondering about this, too. I'm still using the 1.8 that came with mine - it looks identical to the others (but beware - my eyes are old). I wonder whether it is better made than the "normals". With the old ones after a week or so the ohm readings would keep going up and...
I've found that the best way is to vape the tank down, leave it to cool a little and then top up. I know that sounds impractical but it works for me. I've also found that the 1.8ohm coils work best with the x-tank.
I've found that it's a bit dodgy filling the N2 past the line half-way up the atty. I had some "interesting" leakage. This is not a problem with the x-tank, which is also easier to access with its simple unscrew top (you don't have to remove the glass to change the atty). N2 is still a top vape...
Just got mine and am vaping at 8.7 watts using the 1.8 coil (it came fitted with the 0.7 but it's easy to swap out if you remove the glass before filling). Using 2.5 air holes and using 9mg Liqua Blueberry this is a vape that suits me down to the ground. I'm very impressed. :)
Nautilus 2 came today - and I'm very pleased with it. First job was to swap out the 0.7 ohm for the 1.8 (I'll try the other little feller later). Very good on flavour and vapour using Liqua Blueberry and 2.5 air holes open. With all the air holes open there are clouds even at 8.7 watts. My only...
You'll enjoy it. Did you get the larger tank adapter kit? Takes it up to 4ml. I'm happy with mine at 2ml because it's an easy top filler. To my mind it works best with the 1.8 ohm coils, but of course tastes differ. I was a bit unhappy with mine on 1.5 ohm as I found it was a bit of a flavour...
Interestingly I tried again on a black one. Shows up as £12.75 on FT. Tried to walk through it on PayPal - showed up as £16.89. Cancelled PayPal payment! Awful exchange rate at present. I think it must have been the coils ordered with it that stopped PayPal working yesterday - just as well!
Aha! Very interesting! Am I right in thinking that you can use normal Nautilus Mini bvc coils in this?
Edit: Don't worry. They won't take PayPal for it.
Dropped my evic vtwo mini today. Luckily the tank on top didn't smash - but the two magnets in the body of the mod popped out. They now stick to the removable sideplate. I've tried refitting them but the plate no longer seems to fit properly. Any ideas anyone?
