    Hi Ed, Turns out the stabbing and self inflicted gs wound was not school related nor was it near the schools. Someone pranked 911 at the same time the other crime was taking place. But, I do think that something has changed and I'm a bit reluctant to say it.

    Yep...according to scanner reports...there were prank calls made at the same time about a different crime. So they erred on the side of caution and decided to take the prank seriously. In the beginning, it appeared the two incidences were related. Geez...small town and yet....

    Mack's entire school district just went on lock down about 15 minutes ago. Conflicting reports of a shooting and a stabbing and prank calls. Suspect was caught about 7 miles away then shot himself in the head. Not sure if he survived. Police are clearing the schools one at a time...
