I read the post about the various coils that can be subbed out for the original brand.
Are there a few brands that stand out above the others?
Been using the Smok brand since that's what came witrh the tank. I intend to do rebuilds, but it would be good to have some highly rated drop in heads...
I noticed that when I put on the RBA head for the tank, it covers about 1/2 the juice inlet port.
Anyone else familiar with this?
I don't know if I need to change out an o-ring or something. Of course there's nothing in the manual for it.
Thanks for the suggestion. I've been away from vaping for a few years. All the new equipment has my head spinning. I know what I like, but nothing about the tanks.
If I do return it, I guess the question would be in exchange for what?
Mainly I have Smok tanks, but I want something different. I was looking at the Griffin RTA Tank by Geek Vape.
As for my vaping style. I'm definitely a DTL guy. I prefer a warm but not hot vape. I'm currently running a .15...
One thing about the T-Priv kit (I have one too), make sure your tank is screwed on tightly. It has a habit of changing wattage randomly if the tank isn't tight enough. I burned up a few coils before learning that.
I picked up an Ares the other day, but haven't tried it yet.
I'm normally a DTL vaper.
I'm wondering if this tank fully open can give a DTL like experience or I'm better off returning it without even trying it and getting another DTL tank.
Any users of the Ares have thoughts on this?
Hi Tigg,
I know we're poisoning the planet in lots of different ways. I also know that the food chain has been terribly corrupted both by pollution and GMO.
I had a lazy weekend, but I made up for it on Monday and got almost all my yardwork done. I'm still sore from doing it. LOL
Not much else new here. Learning my way around re-buildables and making coils and wicks etc.
Well, I ended up getting nothing done. Oh well, it should be nice all week.
Insomnia tonight so I doubt I'll get much done today either.
Glad you got your spa day in. Did you win lots of money on the pool table? :)
Good Morning all!
It looks like it's going to be a nice day here for a change. Guess that means I'll have to tackle the yard work. Been getting a lot of rain so the grass must be about 6-8"
No, I was medically retired from my job back in '08. I'm still not able to work. Too many things wrong with me to list, but I do understand chronic pain. I haven't had a pain free day since '05. Most days I can push it into "background noise" and ignore it, some days I spend the whole day in bed...
Another place to look for juice is EC Blend They will add menthol to any flavor you choose and have a huge variety of flavors. Small sample bottles are pretty inexpensive too.
Yes, you need to stay under that 3.4 ounce rule per bottle (max capacity, how full it is doesn't matter) or it's very likely to get tossed by TSA.
That's for carry on, doesn't matter in your checked bags.
My wife managed to get to 0 nic. When I tried, I actually ended up with analogs in my pocket. Back to vaping again now, but it took me a long time to give up the analogs again.
Yeah, I was lucky. Considering prior to surgery I could barely get around with a walker.
Have any of you folks with bad backs had an MRI or CT scan? It might be something easily fixed.
On the other hand, if they start recommending fusing discs, that's not something to be done lightly. Success...
