contemplating refinishing this purple 2.5 i got. anyone have any experience in that area? and pics of a raw one around? Would a light sand and paint work ?

i would have no problems with it if it was perfect, but it has a gap and the chips....think im gonna snag a p3 extension and use the original end cap...

Now what do you all make of this, seems to be a vari extension, that used to be purple. someone went to a lot of work to make this... a little chipped. not sure what i should do with it, be happy, or get a normal extension.

Temp control has no interest for me either, reos and 'varis for me. Gonna hold out on putting a price for now and focus on trades.
