Just some thoughts I'd share on this topic. 1) Evolv doesn't have a patent covering all forms of VW, rather it has specific forms of VW implementation as described by the claims of their patent. 2) To infringe said claims, a competitor must perform each and every element of said claims. I love my Xvostick as well, but the DNA40 is just too limiting for most of my mods. For instance, I can't do a ni200 version of the Gem on it. I decided to try out the ProYstick, since I don't have a 26650 mod. I'll post about it when I receive it in April/May. Fyi, it looks like there finally... -

Looks quite nice overall, but if it were me I'd be tempted to see if that 45 degree plane on which the firing button sits could be made a little more visually appealing. The problem with doing a standard for pulse discharge is that the maximum pulse discharge is primarily dependent on the length of the pulse and the recovery period (though other factors exist too). It could just be the tank I'm using, which is the Herakles+ and its 316 pre-built coils. They advertise the coils as tri-parallel, which I'd assume means three wires in parallel to form a 0.2 ohm coil. That's a significant mass of metal to heat up, as compared to my 0.2 ohm dual-wire parallel... -

Have to disagree with your last sentence. Not all clones are counterfeits. Counterfeiting generally requires that a seller is misrepresenting the source of manufacture, such as copying brand markings. Regardless, whether clone or counterfeit, this ain't the thread to discuss them. :) -
