Rebuildable Tank Atomizers - An Anthology, Pictorial, Builds and Reviews.

The size of the chamber may also affect things via an adiabatic process that results in different temperature air entering the aerosolization process with an azeotropic mix. Unfortunately though, I haven't stayed enough times in a Holiday Inn Express yet to figure that aspect out. ;)

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

I asked GV about the differences. The main reason for the new design is because of the DIY crowd who keep messing up the magnet installation. There's no functional difference between them outside of that change. Minor differences are the logo is a tad smaller to accommodate the new battery door...

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

The only authentic atty I've been disappointed with is the Genesis MkII. Just haven't been able to find a build that allows more than just ok flavor, but otherwise it's happy to suck down the juice. That one might end up in the classifieds soon.

*GEM: A new RTA by MarkBugs

Aspire has released a new bvc coil design earlier this year. It has larger holes and uses organic cotton, though I'm not sure if it is a 100% organic cotton wick. It may still use a ceramic paper on the outside of the wick for all I know. So far as I've found, the Nautilus is the best stock...

Could be the photo, but that looks like too thick of a wick. The Gem is often best when minimally wicked.

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

Ah, that explains what it lasted so long for you. I'm running 35W without preheat and it lasts about 8 hours on the LiPo. I don't know if I'd call myself a chain vaper, maybe more of a consistent vaper.

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

It's not an Evolv vs. Yihi thing, but rather that USB Type B is not great at handling perpendicular forces. Go ask any local vendor what one of the most common reasons people break their mods and USB problems will likely be at the top. Type C will be a major improvement in that regard, as the...

me dunno, i installed XP since I have a license for that. I assume either will work.

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

Do you have an .iso or cdrom to install Windows with? Virtualbox doesn't provide you with Windows, just a means to install it.

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

The main issue I had was that my Windows install didn't have the right Ethernet drivers to work with virtualbox, so I had to download the right drivers from Intel so it would work. That required figuring out some way to get the files into the virtual Windows environment, which I finally figured...

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

Go to page 13 of this thread. There's a link that was posted there that gives instructions on setting up Windows via virtualbox and I gave a couple pointers as well.

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

True, but I'm assuming it's max power just like the 200W. Not a good default in my opinion. I had to go through hours of installing Windows on my Mac just so I could use escribe to lower the preheat and not get an initial nasty hit.

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

I'd assume 133W by default, but then you can change that for the presets in escribe. Unfortunately, there is no way to change preheat settings via the mod. It's an unfortunate design choice that hopefully Evolv might fix with a firmware update someday.

Quite agree. The WAE II and SXM are the only mods I use with my Gem. :)

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

With the 18650s, it's better to use the charger so as to minimize wear and tear on the USB. One thing that's unknown about the DNA200 is just how long its USB port will last, especially if one is placing lateral stress on the port from "pass-through" vaping. Otherwise, the built-in balance...

*GEM: A new RTA by MarkBugs

If you're looking at getting a different DNA 200, maybe the Boxer DNA 133 dual 18650 might interest you. I have the LiPo version, but would rather have the 133W since that better suits me. Chip works fine on mine, though I was annoyed to find there is no preheat function in power mode today...

NEW YIHI SX MINI ML CLASS!

From what I've heard, the SX Mini M-class is no longer being made, so whatever's left in inventory is what one can buy. I've not heard that the SX350j original board has been discontinued, but that could be the case. For example, if they have a significant inventory of the original chip they...

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

I inquired with GV and they said that esauce builds their own units. So from that I'd reasonably assume that GV wouldn't be involved in testing a Boxer from esauce either. They also noted that if the wiring is not set up correctly, the 133W configuration won't work correctly regardless of the...

If it's not showing up under System Report under the USB device tree, it sounds like a bad board.
