Sounds to me the atomizer is what you're noticing the difference on. To be simple the 1.6 burns hotter than the 2.2. Hotter means more liquid/ nicotine being vaporized hence the TH. If you want a more detailed understanding look up ohms law. It's to early for me to ramble on about the math...
I tend to not vape outdoors. I don't count at work because most employers don't seem to give an option there. Being able to avoid the elements has been one of my favorite parts to vaping. I still drive with a window cracked down 90% of the time but on days it's less than perfect ill roll the...
I noticed nic vape in Greenville mentioned. I'm not a huge fan of their liquids so far. Granted I've only tried their mixed stuff, but their sample bar uses nic free. I've got no problem with that but what I noticed was a large difference in what I sampled vs what I bought. My conclusion is it's...
I'm betting anyone who caught it on fire tried to dry burn their cotton wick. When your coil looks gunked up take the cotton out first (get it all) then dry burn the coil with a couple short pulses and rethread some new cotton. When in use, as others have said, you'll get a super harsh taste...
Heard about the TriBeCa but no first hand exp. I used an ego twist for awhile (same concept as spinner) and I've known a lot of ppl to use the vamo. Sounds like you've come a long way in 19 days.
Similar to Kushka I get a craving once and awhile. It was primarily at work that would get me but t gets easier and less frequent. I have found keeping 2 different strengths works well for me. I had been at 12mg for awhile, I went to mostly 6mg because I typically vape all day long and wanted to...
Jakart welcome to vaping and rebuilding! As you've noticed from the others posts you can buy some various kanthal wire all over the net. I tend to use amazon but it's pretty cheap as mine as also 7 ish for 100 ft. The multimeter you can find at Home Depot or Lowes for 15-30 or more if you want a...
What is it you want from your "next thing"? Bigger clouds, more flavor, more or less throat hit? Do you like to tinker and learn or do you want something that simply works? Finally how much are you looking to spend?
My father loves his V3, he has around 6 of them with an mvp for back up and he claims he can tell when the battery indicator light is about to go from green to yellow because its different. I called BS very quickly. Later on it happened. He took a drag, said it was about to change then showed me...
I also have a dental tool that's useful (previously mentioned), jar from spaghetti sauce ( or something) for holding atomizers that can one day be rebuilt should I want or need. I took cardboard from a cat food box and made little drawers to stack my DIY flavorings. Only other thing coming to...
I've got no experience to help you with 2 & 3 but I chain vape all day currently, using a regulated device, with 18650 batteries and 1 battery last me all day with a 2.0 resistance. btw I keep the volts at 3.7-4 on average and consistently get a solid day.
not an expert by any means but perhaps the low nic stressed you out a bit? I don't know how much nic you are getting but I know most of the time the symptoms of too much nic and too little are very similar. Anyways if you aren't getting the nic you're use too perhaps thats it. Best of luck!
I think this is one of the better answers I've seen so far. The up keep is surprising. I've had many many days where nothing wants to work right. Learning curve was harsh to me. I over came it. Now my biggest issue is getting good liquids. Find one I like then a week later my taste changes to...
I have to agree with rurwin. Will the MVP last forever the way a good mech will? Not even close. But it's a solid device that will allow you to learn to rebuild on safely. Plus for 40 bucks it makes for a great back up.
I got mine 2 maybe 3 months ago and I love it. It took me about a day of use to start eyeing my next one. Sadly I have a budget or some adult nonsense like that...
I usually preferred 2.2 for devices that weren't variable. When everything is stock (pt coil I did not rebuild) anything much lower struggled to not give dry hits.
