    I know this has been answered, so this is just reiteration... The 'cracks or chips' aren't a bother. The fill screw acts as a plug (it's not threaded) and covers up those minor blemishes pretty well. I have the smaller sidewinder and really love it. I can't see it breaking anytime soon. Unless...
