OK, I don't own a Rocket, but all of the digital display VV devices that I know of (meaning ones that have a display and buttons for adjustment and not a pot for adjustment) automatically reset back to 3.0v when the battery is disconnected, so either the batteries are losing contact or as you...
Uh-oh, I'm having mixed emotions regarding your post kwalka! I believe that I'm the resident IT guy that you speak of and are glad to see here now, but I think I might also be the guy who started the kissy-face stuff that you're ranting about when I said goodnight and that I was going to bed...
That's brilliant! My gosh, how did I not think of something like that?! Again, BAD IT GUY!!! :( I even thought about the replacement AC wall outlets with 2 USB ports in the wall plate that are around now, so you'd think those power strips would have entered my tired mind at some point last night.
OK lovely ladies of GotVapes (I think that I'm the only guy on this thread right now?), I need to crash! Have a good night, Briar get to bed, and see you all tomorrow! :)
Agreed, especially since you're going to be selling VV pass-throughs. I saw a USB car charger on the site very recently but I couldn't find it tonight...?
Here's a dual-port one (so you vape on 2 pass-through at the same time!) for $12.99:

It's 5V and 2000mA which is important, but definitely see what yiddleboge6 has first, and maybe try Radio Shack too.
Hey, why is it a secret?! ;)
I just looked to see who made the one for my VaprLife Pearl PT so I could look it up online, but it doesn't say and is actually a 9V one. :(
I honestly wouldn't. I mean it looks like it would work since it has a 4000mA power supply, but you can get 2 or maybe 3 USB wall chargers for that much money. Not to mention that you never know and your current powered USB hub might work fine at the voltages you vape at. :)
Hahaha, while I really like your description of your USB hub, I might need a little more to go on! :)
Yeah, I dug out my eGo wall charger after I replied and it's only 500mA. :( Do you own a smartphone? If so and if the USB cord detaches those are usually 1000mA. If you really end up loving...
Well unfortunately Briar that's where things get tricky with USB stuff. :( A typical downstream USB 2.0 port is only 500mA which should power the lower voltage settings just fine, and powered USB hubs allow a dedicated 500mA to each port as opposed to that 500mA being shared between all devices...
Yeah, I really hope that people not being able to crank up the voltage on a standard downstream USB 2.0 port on their computer doesn't skew the results and make it seem like it's a bad product if it isn't. :( My recommendation to everyone who ordered these would be to try a USB wall charger...
I agree with the MadVapes recommendation! That's where I get all of my adapters and little accessories like that. I always use their 510 SEALED Extensions on my expensive mods in case of leakage.
