Just build the coil and rewick the orchid... At 2.5mm coil, it seems too big for orchid.. Rather cautious if the coil will touch the chimney... Steam engine says 28 awg 11 wrap at 2.5mm will give me 1 ohm but I am getting 0.6 ohm...
I can't stand the nic in juices... It is just too harsh for me and only manage to use 3 ml with some coughing.
I've been searching for this post to ask why do I use 2-3 tanks per day on my orchid while I was using 1.5 on aerotank mega. The orchid even hold more juice in it. Guess I got the...
Erm, since my first setup on orchid I have never rewick.... I vape around 2 tanks per day... That's 8 ml, and change flavor from one day to another.... Taste maybe got distracted a bit but what I did was to close the air hole, suck up the juice to the cotton, chain vape, suck again... Then after...
Really? I thought it was very packed.... I will try again though... I build another one for my orchid.. And the cotton was even tighter... The orchid vape really good
For the ohm.. I use:
http://www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp?s=dp&r=1&awg=28&id=2&ll=6
But that's on preparation only... I was about to make 1.2 ohm dual coil but it will be too many wrap for me...:
The more I wrap the messier it become... So 0.7 ohm should be okay
Errr.... Guessing a bit... I just know not to go too low on ohm and always use vct 4 or vct 5.
The 0.7 ohm was my vamo reading. I always plug it in to vamo first and read the ohm
Lucky for me... As a noob... I've read to use proper batteries only and lower ohm, higher risk... I won't go below 0.7 ohm yet.
I don't have ohm meter... But my vamo v5 does the trick for me. Anyway I always do 9-12 wraps of awg 28 on dual coil... It won't be far from 0.7-0.8 ohm I suppose
Just got my orchid... Make 0.7 ohm from 28 awg khantal 9 wrap....
Can't use the Vamo so use mech mod. Work like charm
So 4.2 volt fully charged vct 4, 0.7 ohm... I must be doing around 25 watts right?
