I don't know how much of a quest you want to make out of eggnog; or, which eggnog concentrates you already have on hand. But, of the three brands I have (TFA, CAP, and LA), LorAnn's (LA) is hands-down the best to my taste buds. It works as a stand-alone (5-6%), and can also be easily boozed up...

Why don't more flavor companies use terpenes?

The thread in question, that was closed, was specifically pointed at a commonly associated "illegal drug's" extraction by the OP. Per the forum's rules (#16, and #34d & e); that is not acceptable here. Agree with it, or not, those are the rules. Yes, one might make a case that those specific...

Why don't more flavor companies use terpenes?

If you are referring to oxidation... then, yes, nicotine seems to be most susceptible. Dilution refers to the reduction in concentration of a component. Anything you add to your e-liquid mix, including (but not limited to) PG, VG, water, alcohol, nicotine concentrate, other flavor concentrates...

Help, my newly made liquid tastes burned or awful

It can be every bit as simple as that. A different wick. A different coil. Even a different power setting can make the same e-liquid taste surprisingly different. When it really starts to go off the charts, is when you start comparing different atomizers. That is why I will never cry "baloney"...

What is the best company to purchase e-liquid supplies from?

Heartland gets another vote for their basic econo-line nic. It is cheap (the cheapest I have found; day-to-day), and clean (no taste mixed at 18mg/mL). Fast, friendly, family owned business. I will buy from them without hesitation. (I have not tried their salt offerings; so I can not offer an...

Help, my newly made liquid tastes burned or awful

@Blackkin, as you describe it, I see two possibilities. Either the e-liquid is different, or the hardware is different. This should be fairly easy to sort out. Place your e-liquid in their devise and vise versa. If, your e-liquid tastes good (to you) in their device; your hardware is at...

Voopoo Giveaway - 20 Kits to be won!

No @ChelsB, it is like any other "give-away".... all you have to do is do their advertising for them... without pay or compensation (excluding, of course, the one winner (may, or may not, be on ECF)). It's all good! If ECF wanted to do a TRUE raffle/give-away; it would be a...

I can't make nothing that sticks..

@DIYNoob, I am confused... You say you can not taste anything (in your DIY efforts), yet you posted success here: My first 2 flavour juice! Is this an issue of "you can't taste anything?" Or, is it more "it doesn't taste the way you want?" Atomizers do make a difference...

@ChelsB, Amber/cobalt will help diminish UV effects, but will not negate influences of heat (heat "cooks" off flavor). Also wall mounted racks are fine... if they help with accessibility (they are over/in front of, your mixing station), otherwise I fail to see the benefit (though I readily admit...

Sweet was the one thing I failed to touch on regarding INW Pinacolada. It is the one thing that does not hold up to my grocery store premade pina colada mix... in that I tend to find those sickeningly sweet with corn syrup. INW Pina colada does not share that trait (at least, to my taste buds)...

    Random DIY mixing and More

I also found INW Pinacolada to be a good stand-alone. It is more of a generic Pina Colada "grocery store bottle mix" vs. one made with scratch ingredients (coconute cream, fresh pineapple, etc.), but good none the less. It, to me, is extremely versatile and can easily be bent in just about every...

Need help figuring out out how to get 9mg

Start out by going to the DIY E-Liquid sub-forum: At the top of the first page, you will see 10 "stickied" (indicated by the red thumb tack icon) threads, that covers some of the basics (stickied threads will always appear at the top of the list). I suggest beginning with the one labeled "DIY...

Yep, their basic (least expensive) 100mg/mL nic (currently $45/liter). Link (red highlight) in my previous post. :) That was 99.9% my fault. I linked the product to my own slang. I apologize for my needless confusion. Concerns?... ah, no. Experience?... only once. That was (at the...

For the FWIW file: I like Am4a at 3.5%. And, I prefer it "fresh," to steeped. From 3 days, to 14 days, is my sweet spot window. After that, it looses too much of the "fresh tobacco" aromatic notes, and tastes more like a generic tobacco concentrate. :) If you don't find a better bargain with...

Hershey's Cocoa as Chocolate Flavoring Base?

I agree with @JCinFLA. I know getting "closer to the source" seems like a logical idea. But (yes; that's a big but), that is introducing even more "unknowns" into the inhalation safety hodgepodge. It may "seem" like it should work. But, one has no idea if the components extracted, will still...

    RWhy4 (original recipe by tc1)

RY4's, as a recipe, never floated my boat. It was all caramel, and no tobacco. Call it a caramel recipe and be done with it... or so I thought. Then, I found @tc1's Scutch recipe (RWhy4 Reloaded), and was hooked. The nut addition just did something for it. Instead of a cloyingly sweet...

You're most welcome; I hope it helps.:D I can't honestly say; as I don't know what your taste buds are, and aren't, sensitive to.:( 1.5% of a hazelnut combo is not a strong presence for me, but it would normally(?) be enough, for me to notice it is there. I think(???), as you have initially...
