    I've found that there is a great advantage to this. When your juice tastes crappy enuf you can never tell when your coils go bad. Mine last FOREVER!

    How long does your Mod last

    I have several iStick Picos. As well as some other mods. Two of the Pico have been my daily drivers for a year and half now. They've been through several drops on concrete and asphalt but they keep on ticking. Wish my ancient tanks were doing as well! I too vape MTL at 8-ish Watts.

    I guess that my guess is that guessing what kind of wire you're dealing with ain't a good idea. Sounds like you may have gotten the tank so hot that you may have fried the insulators (atomiser short). I wouldn't take another stab at putting any build in that tank until after a full tear down...
