I've been vaping for a couple of years now and still notice in a morning the first maybe 5-10 hits i take are a little harsher than normal . I think its just my throat getting used to the vape again after 8 hours sleep. Its never bothered me infact i quite like it. It seems to help wake me up lol.
Hi Raimi welcome to ECF.
You can use this col wrapping calculator to roughly find how many wraps you will need. Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators
You should always check your coils with a ohm meter before using them though.
@Decker
heres some discount codes for vaporcraze
VC Offer for 10% off (think this is a limited time code but it worked last few times i used it)
VAPORCRAZE UK for 5% off (this one works always)
Note: you cant use both at the same time.
Nope I wouldn't want to give the big tobacco companies any more of my money.
If my RDA's, RTA's and VW devices where banned here in europe I'm sure places in china would still produce them. I would just buy my gear from overseas same as I do now.
Hi decker,
If you like hangsen try Vapor Craze - E Liquid and Electronic Cigarettes – UK
Its free next day delivery and they offer 70/30 pg/vg and 30/70 pg/vg.
The prices are good and I buy from them If I run out of liquid i get from my normal supplyer.
Thanks mate.
I got mine from fasttech so not sure what the returns policy will be from SXK. If they could possibly take mine and reprogram the chip to fix the problem that would be great.
I'd rather keep it if they can do that because I really like this mod it has everything I've been looking...
I'm thinkng about returning mine. It also has the low resistance reading problem its from batch 2. The low resistance reading gets worse the higher the ohms. An ni200 coil at .16 ohm reads .10 on mine and i just tested a 1.56 ohm kanthal coil and the reading came in at 1.37 ohm.
I have the exact same mod but in silver. I got it from fasttech too and can tell you that the resistance readings are off. It does read about .08 ohm too low I've tested with two other ohm meters. With ni200 coils it reads about .06ohms too low which is a painif your aiming to build a ni200 coil...
Right now I'm using a single twisted 26 gauge coil 2.5mm diameter run at 35 - 40 watts and it gives good flavour.
I like clapton coils for flavour aswel but they are a pita to make.
Money was never the reason I swithched to vaping it was for health reasons so no I wouldn't go back even if they gave away cigs for free.
Also it feels kind of good to stick 2 fingers up to the tobacco companies who had been making money from slowly killing me for 16 years with their products...
If you want a dual coil RTA I hear a lot of good things about the Goliath. It has lots of air flow and the juice channels are huge. It also has juice control and when it's closed you can access the the build deck without draining your tank.
I've always used unbleached natural cotton balls. Can get a big bag for around $2 and its always served me well. Not had any wicking issues but i rarely build below .4ohm. But since i made the switch to 100% vg I have been having to change my wicks every day as it seems to lose its wicking...
yeah I have this one and it works well.
$27.40 VAMO V7 Variable Wattage APV Mod - stainless steel / 1*18650 / 3.0W-40.0W at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
just a note about those batteries with the $36.76 VAMO V5 Variable Voltage/Wattage APV Starter Kit - V-tank clearomizer / 3.0-6.0V / 3.0W-15.0W at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I would put them aside and buy a good quality 18650 battery instead.
When I first started I knew nothing at all about vaping but was looking to stop smoking. I went into my local shop and saw some cigalikes on the shelf so I asked the woman behind the counter what they were. She told me that they where a new way to help quit smoking so I decided to try one.
After...
My worst buy was a mini pro tank clone i got from a local shop. It never worked right and the stock coils that came with it were awful and I would say borderline dangerous.
Question for you tc guys out there. How do you clean your ni200 coils?
I recenly got my first tc mod but heared dry burning ni200 isn't a good idea. Also if anyone can recommend an rda that works well with tc that would be great.
Cheers.
