    temp control really that good?

Correct...it will not fire in TC mode with a coil that high as it will assume it is kanthal. For TC to work it has to be a wire that varies resistance with temperature (Nickel, Titanium, Stainless Steel, though the new DNA200 is the only one that can run stainless natively, but many now can run...

    DNA 200 Watt

If all you are counting is accuracy of TC, perhaps. But I count: -warranty -customizing/tweaking ability -monitoring -form factor of chip -availability of the developers for problem solving/product expansion -solder points for off board buttons -price Many of these are "modder's" issues, but...

I use a variable temperature iron, so I don't think my method is applicable...for the fat stuff I put on a medium tip, cleaned and tinned. Flux pad and wire, tin pad and wire. Re-flux surface of tinning. I flux and tin the iron with a heavy solder layer. Hold the iron to the wire over the...

    DNA 200 Watt

I would not work on a Lipo as my first soldering experience. That said, if you are careful you should be able to give it a go if you practice first on similarly sized wires. Working with the lipo is working with all hot wires so you typically strip/tin/tape and move on. Each end you are...

If it is one of mine, tell me which one and I will look at it. Their prices are great, but their pre-processing filter is a bit odd. There may be an artifact in one.

@Novcon got around to testing ABS today and needed a test subject...your sled will go out in the mail. Lame image, but it is a great print.

Your aluminum sled would be a perfect example of a printed part that would make your build easier, and just as magnificent.

I will be curious to see the final wire routing from the chip...they are so fat that I had to angle mine correctly prior to tinning as the process created an unmovable .25" that was un planned for.

Too bad you are not close enough to the boarder for a post office box...but I guess that is illegal.

Let's see it it works as a bottom feeder then we can decide if there is any low-hanging fruit as to multipurpose layouts. It seems rather large to most folks I show it to, though I have bear hands.

I guess I am just weird...once I find a build I like it goes in all my atomizers.

Just remember to sand off some of the snap bumps on the top and bottom as there will be no flex in the body at those points.

Pulled it out of thin air...with some research. You want any nail police that has an acetone carrier. I went to the local liquidation store and opened them and smelled them. I probably used more acetone than stated as I just eyeballed it. It is durable.

So one the one side you want a snap panel that would hold an atomizer and a bottle and one that would be lower and support an atomizer? The modder would have to wire it one way or the other right? It is not a mid stream change or are you figuring in bullet connectors for the atomizer leads...

As to how I goofed it up (sort of...but got it sorted). Since I had a good case that I had printed in white just to test, I thought I would test a way to seal it and color it: Equal parts nail polish, cyanoacrylate glue and acetone: Dipped the mod: One dip was nice, two was perfect but...

Excellent....you and KTMRider got the early version...the display has been lowered 4mm to make ribbon management easier and the buttons have been sorted...Thanks for your turn as a test subject. I am getting over a day of heavy vaping on mine, though I just fubared mine...more on that in a bit.
