Its actually the sound vibrations that activate automatic batteries. I've talked to many manufacturers to see how they address these issues, with no success of course.

the manual battery is the solution to that for sure. its the heavy vibrations that could cause the auto batts to turn on. back when we were still testing other models i took a 306 with an auto batt to a concert and in my pocket(no pcc) it started to get hot... halfway thru i realized 1 battery...
